| Even at this point, Kataoka being very critical of Namidome's costs with Arumi going out at night to hunt the Giant Beast that appeared at her former house on the island, he's just being a jerk now that even Muto finds this grieving. But Arumi going to Tetsuro to find that exact footage of the one beast that had a damaged eye, he caught it by surprise on his first deployment. And that beast that turned from a family dog thanks to the leash that was on it, that was Arumi's family dog Shiro that within 4 weeks, have grown exponentially that without costs, would not make the capture viable. This turns Tetsuro back to his old company to request for help, and it's engineer Yoshi Kameyama who would help them in his free time. With the homepage done, they managed to be loaned a boat for free, and with Bullrover fixed, this is their only chance to capture it with a cage trap. But a vlogger trespasser who just happens to trespass Ryugan Island, one of the monsters has to appear while Arumi sights the Giant Beast running into the ocean, and Tetsuro takes charge with his disciplinary leave done, intentionally to save Arumi and kill it just in time. The trap is set, and indeed, Shiro comes back as the dog she remembers, turned into a Giant Beast. Mission accomplished...? |

| The reveal of the evolving beasts and a proper battle . The mechs would be pretty useless without its cannon, probably need a blade weapon of sort like the one the in 86. Can’t wait heard Kataoka’s rant about the cost in the next episode.  |
| Don't know how useful it's going to be capture her dog for study considering how the scientist and the doctors seemed. It's terrifying to see a close up of the beast especially when it's biting on to your mech from the front. A better directed episode too. |

| I was a bit disappointed they showed nothing of Muzu escaping with that idiot streamer, but they made up for it with Nikaidou's tears in the end ^^ A very good episode again. Finally an upwards trend for Namidome! However, with an aquatic Beast and the whole fight potentially being on a live stream, there's already more trouble on the rise. I hope Shiro can be useful to their research and - more importantly - turned back to normal! |
| Glasses guy from the end is probably a researcher? Looking forward to the next episode. This one was not that interesting. Seems like they skipped the interesting stuff. (I also would have loved to see the girl escape.) The end fight already seemed a bit boring again. The wrestling lol. The anime was better in episodes 2-3 without any fighting at all. :D |
| For Nikaido, it's personal and now Okino knows why. Not only does footage show evidence of the beast being her pet dog, it grown bigger between their two observations. Capturing a live one is crucial for the research, but capturing a small one makes things much easier and cost-effective. IRL streamers ruining shit for everyone even in anime. Now Muto is injured. If the beasts evolve aquatic adaptions, it's game over. Bald man is very lawful good not paying him for the few minutes remaining in Okino's leave. Damn, hopefully they'll learn more about the specimen next episode. |

| This is utterly irresponsible. What if that creature had made it into the water? What if there are others like it? What if other idiots try to reach the island? This is why it is utterly idiotic to NOT get the authorities involved. |
