Cute story of children in need, but one can't help thinking the film mismanaged its duration, with its resolution through sudden acceleration, (unsurprising) revelations and the lack of characterization for most of its cast.
The long period of weaving relationships where the characters stay idle in the castle was probably far more interesting in the original novel.

Score: 6/10
Enjoyment: 5/5
Still a nice family movie for young children.

Saw this movie just now. Enjoyable movie with a nice friendship theme (and great song by Yuuri at the end).

Sure there are things that could always be better but I had a nice and satisfied feeling when the movie finished.

Nice FIlm!
As the story progresses, its appeal grows, and the final scene captures the mystery and its causes.

It's a shame that the ending wasn't fully developed, especially for the characters, whose evolution after their adventure in the castle is unknown!

The animation isn't very detailed, but it creates beautiful shots and well-crafted scenes.
The music contributes to its repertoire, being key.

Recommended, as it's a good time and even feels short!

The best thing about the movie is Edogawa Conan’s voice!

Conan’s voice alone is enough to make me love any anime, no questions asked.

What is happening at the end? It seems like Kokoro doesn’t remember Rion or Aki, but they seem to remember her. Aki seems to have clear memory of her when they meet in the counseling room, but again Kokoro doesn’t remember? How did Aki know to save each kid?
Rion is waiting for her and walks up to her introducing himself, but she doesn’t remember him? He asked his sister to let him remember at the end, but that doesn’t explain Aki having memories… I really enjoyed it, but the ending is confusing. I searched online and I can’t find any explanations. Maybe it’s in the novel, which I see that it was based off of? Well, it was a happy ending regardless.
