| With the kind of pacing they are going with. They will easily reach chapter 40 which will most probably be the stopping point of the series. The continuation (whenever that might happen) will then pick up from the Reze arc. As for audiences reaction, I think most people will like it as Chainsaw Man manga starts getting really good from this arc. This arc boosted the manga sales as well so it should perform well in the anime as well. |

Bomb Girl + International Assassins Arcs 3. Gun Devil + Control Devil Arcs I know a lot of CSM fans refer the manga's pacing to be very fast but let's not forget the slow and dialogue-heavy scenes. Even the fight scenes will be extended in the anime, as seen with the Zombie + Bat Devil fights. This is coming from someone who's read Part 1 several times. That sounds pretty good to be honest. Even tho I would have preferred to see Part 1 animated in one singular season, I can live with it getting split into several smaller ones if Mappa can keep up the outstanding quality they've been putting out so far. I'm just praying that there won't be a movie because I prefer having the series stand on it's own... plus it's often a pain to see anime movies in cinemas (in terms of accessibility). Unfortunately animation studios have been going crazy for canon anime movies ever since Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen 0... I guess the only plus side to a movie would be, that the animation might look even better than it already does because anime movies usually tend to look better. |
