| Dude A-1 is just like MAPPA with all these crazy projects they taking up. I was hoping NieR anime would tell the stories of the events prior to the game but it looks like it’s a retelling of NieR Automata’s story. Can’t wait the animation looks real good. Key Visuals look stunning   |

| Yoko Taro being involved in the script is definitely the best thing here, and the other production staff is decent(?), I guess. Because of the CAD, it's got the same shiny compositing as El-Melloi and I assume they are going to use the CG like they did on 86, although I don't think the CG director have been announced. Overall, the trailer looks kind of weird but it's not like there is no animation or anything, it looks decent. I'll try the first few episodes. |
