& to add more things i notice after watching games 2 & 3 of the Knicks & Heat series,

Watching the Knicks offense is mostly frustrating!!!

Lots of isolation with bad shot selections!!!

The Knicks probably forgot that they are not against the Cavs anymore where almost everybody from the Cavs starting lineup is a mismatch outside the paint!!!

That shit would not work against the Heat where barely any mismatches happens!!!

Infact, the Heat's defense is just too good especially in iso up to the point that Love is barely a defensive liability for their team!!!

Its like im watching 90's basketball where one has the ball & everyone else is just standing there!!!

THIBS NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEIR OFFENSE ASAP!!!

& the reason they win Game 2 was simply bcoz Jimmy was in the sideline!!!

& the Heat even forced a close game without Jimmy at that!!!

Sup, @Hitagi__Furude

I'm very late on this but thanks.

The Knicks losing always make for some good laughs.

If my life was a movie, y'all wouldn't believe half of it.

Ended up going off the map for a bit. Glad to be back. Even if it's last minute.

Still got some catching up to do but I just watched Nuggets/Heat Gm4. My first time watching a game in about a month, I think.

As expected, Denver is simply too much for the Heat.

Still, Let's Go Heat!

It's not over 'til it's over.

And yooooo!! The Nuggets actually swept the Lakers?? That's crazy!! I thought the Lakers would at the very least not let THAT happen.

And then ,the Celtics/Heat series actually went 7! That's wild.

So for my last autopsy report for a game this season:

I dunno why the Heat didnt take advantage of Jokic in foul trouble in the 1st half!!!

Butler showed up way too late!!!

The game has no business to be close despite the Nuggets shooting badly from 3 since for some reason, they missed their freethrows!!!

Jokic being guarded by someone else besides Bam is just a no-no!!!

The refs fucked the Nuggets the whole game & they shoot shit in the freethrow line & yet they still won!!!

The Nuggets inadvertedly taken advantage on Bam scoring since thats what they want rather than the Heat heating up on 3!!!

Butler had made bad decisions in the last 3 possessions!!!

Shoutout to Porter!!!

Congrats @Crawlie!!!

& to @MadanielFL,

Im sorry but the West is better than the East!!!

Good luck next time brother!!!

See you guys next season!!!

I know y'all want to talk about Denver, and I'll let you finish, but did you know Jerry West talked Kobe Bryant out of signing with the Grizzlies in 2004...while working for Memphis?

Back for another round of picks! I went 4-4 in Round 1 and have gone 2-1 in Round 2 with Boston heading to a Game 7, so I'll either be 7-5 or 6-6 with three series left. I'll make my pick for the WCF now and update this post once the ECF is set:

DEN in 6 (originally had MEM over DEN like a homer)
BOS in 7 (originally had BOS over MIL)

After going 4-4 in Round 1, 3-1 in Round 2, and 1-1 in Round 3, I have a record of 8-6 with just one series remaining. Good to know I'll finish above .500 regardless of how my Finals pick turns out.

I think the Heat ran out of playoff magic against the Celtics and only survived due to Tatum's injury, so they'll have zero momentum compared to a Nuggets teams that has been rolling and relaxing.

DEN in 5 (original was BOS over MEM)

9 out of 15 series picked correctly, or a 60% hit rate.

That'd be 49-33 by NBA standards, so good enough for the 3 seed in the West or the 5 seed in the East.

Such a beautiful thing to see your team win man.

Always knew they could do it but then following up with it is a beautiful sight.

Denver has a great young core that's locked down for a while. I think they will continue to contend for titles as long as they are healthy, could easily be the dominant force in the West for years to come.

Congratulations to the Denver Nuggets on winning the 2022-23 NBA title and on winning their first NBA title in franchise history.

It was a fun Playoffs (eventhough I ended up missing a lot of it).

Major props to the Miami Heat as well for once again defying all expectations. It was another memorable run. Thank you for the memories.

And congratulations to Nikola Jokic, the 2022-23 Finals MVP. He is now officially one of the greats.

And in fact, I think he is right now the best player in the the NBA.

I considered Durant to be the best player in the NBA still going into these Playoffs even though he looked shaky.

And though he's missed a lot of games, I think Durant did enough to still hold that title.

Not to mention, no one else had stepped up and separated themselves since Durant's battles with injury beginning in 2019.

Until now, that is.

The contenders for who could be next up were Kawhi Leonard, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokic.

And wihout further a due, this is how I have it;

The Best Player in the NBA (since I've been watching basketball):

Kobe Bryant

LeBron James

Kevin Durant

and now

Nikola Jokic

It's been another fun season. Looking forward to the next one.

Hahahahaha. I didn't think the Heat would win the Finasl anyway lol. I just wanted them to. Not much to be disappointed over. And their run was real fun. Can't be mad.

And noooo lol, not one of those fans.

Normally, I watch quite a few games during the Regular Season and lock in during the Playoffs.

These last few years been something though but I'm good, thanks.

Props for being the MC in the forums for this season.

And shout outs to everybody else who posted as well. And congratulations to the Denver Nuggets fans.

It's been chill.

I don't know how well I did but maybe I did good enough to be a 8 seed in the East. And make it to the Finals lol.

I took a lot of risks. Can't be mad.
