This was . . . well . . . not a good ending. Some nice things were happening, but then everything just ended. I guess "Mo Dao Zu Shi" and "Link Click" made me have high expectations?

I can't said it is a bad ending because is not a ending at all. This chinese people just make a very long movie and cut on short pieces I guess this have to had a second season with the other half of the movie...... right?

This Got Better And Better As It Got Nearer The End.
Last Few Episodes Were Really Non Stop Action Packed.
OK, We Still Do Not Know What The End Game Is Or What The MCs Are Trying To Achieve.
The Description Tells You Of What May Happen & Why, But We Ain't Close To That Yet.
It Did Get Hints At BL With The Main Characters, Not My Type So We Will See.
If You Like Space Action Sci- Fi, Give This A Try But Do Not Expect A Conclusion.
This Could Run For A While, I Hope!

I was in as a fujoshi because of Priest's danmei,
I'm a bit disappointed as how little MC relationship developed and not sure if I'm motivated enough to start the novel.
Is there a way to start the novel at a chapter where their relationship start to grow on the passion/BL side or will I miss too many unsaid thing ?

I am not reconciled with that ending. I feel like I have eaten an appetiser only to realise that there is no main course. Seems like there is no choice but to read the novel.
Otherwise, good episode.

i find this concept of a neural link with mechas to be pretty fascinating. how if you're neural capacity is stronger/better than others around you, you can even commandeer their mechas, etc

kinda wish we got more time with headmaster teaching his students "how to mecha" and all that. but, it was only 16 medium length episodes. can't expect too much development/progression. i don't personally care much about the league vs the legion or space pirates or whatever the bad guys are called. it's interesting that the mc's younger sister is apparently the leader of this anti-league/establishment/whatever force

started feeling towards the end that the headmaster might have feelings for the mc? idk, maybe. but idc about that stuff

i would watch a second season if one were to come out. weird seeing people complain about the "ending". this is par for the course with donghua. the season just randomly stops sometimes. sometimes it picks up in the following "season". and sometimes the show never gets a sequel (just like many anime).

6.5 or 7/10. solid donghua
