The Case Study of Vanitas
| I realized it while re-reading the manga with the release of the anime. In the fight at the head of the manga, he had praised her strength and blushed a little. He had said that he was upset when Jeanne drank Vanitas' blood, and while dancing with Vanitas at the ball he had asked him what love is. Everyone says it's a clue that he likes Vanitas, but I think it's quite possible that he likes Jeanne. Although I say so, I hope it is not like that. Considering that Vanitas and Jeanne like each other, both Noé, who has to watch them, and Domi, who sees that he loves someone else, will be hurt. Even if Vanitas and Jeanne love each other, they'll probably both die(Her promise with Vanitas kinda foreshadowing this and Vanitas is going to die at manga's end) Now Im depressed AF because I know Jun Mochizuki is cruel enough to do it. |

| This has been discussed in the fandom for a long time, actually. In my opinion, Noé often blushes when he sees Jeanne because of her beauty. Vanitas said in her first appearance how even Luna commented about her being astonishing. So, I believe that it's just a way of reaffirming that Jeanne got really good looks in the world of the story, not just in Vanitas or Luna perspective, but also for someone like Noé, who doesn't seem to be the type of character that cares so much about these things. |

And he also said that he wants to taste Vanitas blood too because it smelt so good. Also, in the manga, when he looked to the side, there was all the other people (so Luka, Domi, then Noé and Jeanne). I don't know that if it meant something, but in the anime they just showed only Noé and that he looked at Jeanne. That's why I think the anime made it looks like he has something for her, but in the manga it looks different, or atleast for me. We also got that Noé and Domi scene too, but I think however we look it's onesided from Domi's side. They are close, but that's because they grew up together, we know that Domi has feelings for him, but Noé never showed anything towards her. He may see her as a sister. Oh and about when Noé tried to ask Jeanne to dance with him, but Domi went to her and stole her xD.. I think he wanted to know more about how she feels about Vanitas, or anything like this. So he didn't do this to ask her to dance with him because he maybe likes her..., like- what could he does after it. (Or maybe he tried to do this, so Vanitas couldn't dance with her..) And that all explain why he asked those questions later when he danced with Vanitas. (And as I know we will not get more things about Noé and Jeanne, so that's another point why I think that wasn't about her. If I'm wrong you all can say so.) Well, but in the end, as many people as many views and/or opinions. So you can see anything in it that you want!!! Like if the anime wouldn't have made it so obvious that Domi is jealous of Jeanne because she thinks that Noé maybe has feelings for her, we could ship them too lol. It would been a nice ship tho, I can also say that I would like it, but I know that Domi really starts to hate her after this. |

| I think hints are pretty strong, I just finished that episode today. WHen Noe asks Vanitas about love, the very next scene he looks at Jeane and there are many other hints all around the manga. Especially with Domi getting anxious and jealous are quite telling. If this wasn't discussed before I wouldn't have noticed it at all but subtle hints are everywhere. This surely can become true later in the series who knows |

| i think for vampires, drinking blood is a vary intimate and possibly romantic experience, especially for Noe since he doesnt do it often. they've said before vampires dont require blood to live and they mainly do it for pleasure---he only drinks domi's blood because they have such a close relationship to each other, so i think its quite revealing he has such a thirst for vanitas' (had he been interested in jeanne i think he would have made more comments about her, but for that scene in chapter12 the focus was mainly on vanitas). So far, (ch28) only jeanne and noe have made recurring comments on the smell of vanitas' blood--and at least one of them has blatant romantic interest in him, so i'm thinking the scent of someone's blood is also influenced by the vampires feelings for them, ie vanitas' blood is so enticing to him because he likes him. i think the scene in ch12 is intentionally a bit vague so that it can be interpreted either way, but with the context of the previous chapters of noe confessing his interest in vanitas, saying he wanted to join him on his venture, and their dance together, i think its fair to interpret this as noe having romantic interest in vanitas, not jeanne. |

| i would tell you but i forgor about the show until i saw your title i dont remember anything also, if i interpreted the wavy lines that the guy above me wrote out, i think the answer could possibly be "at least 2" |
