Everybody is saying steins;gate like they dont get it already. Steins;gate is good I started watching it but some other decent ones are ERASED and Tokyo Revengers, both I recommend watching as well.

Steins Gate is like the standard inspector for every time travel concept, it's defining just like how Detective Conan rule over the mystery genre.

Steins; Gate and Re:Zero are the only ones I know, and out of these two, definitely Steins; Gate.

This is kinda a spoiler, but I like how it was handled in Charlotte. The same aspect was explored in the game Quantum Break, how you can't make time go faster or go to a time that doesn't exist yet.

I haven't seen Steins;Gate though, I guess I should get to it asap because time travel might just be my favorite plot device.

Steins;Gate without a doubt. It can be confusing at times but became one of my favorite animes I have ever watched. The development of every character is great, the storytelling is one of a kind, and it just has great time travel incorporated into it. I hope you get to it and really enjoy it!

Most time travel in anime are kinda mid, they just use "time travel bad" as formula . Steins Gate is exception with complex explanation and examples. Not an anime , but i'd recommend u to watch Netflix's Dark, it basically what could possibly gone very wrong of time travelling.

Everyone's bringing up Steins Gate but only one user mentioned the greatness that is Natsu no Arashi.

The first season of course, not that gay shit second season.

Steins;Gate, Steins;Gate, Steins;Gate. It's all Steins;Gate. Consider reading its visual novel too since many fans like it better than the anime. But regardless, time travel is such an inflexible genre / trope, and most of the shows exploring it are really similar. Besides Steins;Gate, Vivy finished last season and Link Click is about to finish.

Blast of tempest was one of the more unique ones that I encountered. It was really intresting watch and is still one of my fav in the Time Travel category along with Steins;Gate. The premise was really mysterious and intresting, keeps you at the edge of your seat with its mysterious plot. The way time travel was executed was also very unique and honestly I haven't encountered any other anime like it yet.

AS many others have said, Steins;Gate. That was the first time travel show/movie that has been so in depth of the theme that I've ever seen.

There's Sagrada Reset too which alright.

Has to be Re:Zero for me(Of course, it's my favorite show), and I feel like it's the most consistent when it comes to it's timelines, or in this case, loops out of any TT shows I've watched. The time travel aspect isn't explored as much as Steins;Gate but I feel like Re:Zero has a better understanding of cause & effect.

Yeah, Steins;Gate is very good and uses time travel very well. It's got a really strong cast and is definitely one of my top series I recommend to people.

The first series I thought of when I saw the topic of time travel though was actually Sakurada Reset. You can probably guess from the title, but it has more to do with resetting time than time travel, but it's a very good mechanic for the story. Not to mention the whole show feels like a slice-of-live version of MHA - where everyone has powers but the story focuses more on using them to solve mysteries than fighting or anything super action-like.

I'll probably recommend Madoka Magica as well, though the time-travel is more of a plot device and backstory than it is for Steins;Gate.

I totally forgot about Tempest until now. I wouldn't really call it time travel - more like just a weird timeline interactions (and now that I think of it pointing it out to begin with is kind of a spoiler?), but it definitely makes the mystery and conflict more interesting.

the history of steins; gate, unlike other anime like erased, focuses mainly on time travel, that's why it was the most mentioned, I can't say that erased, or tokyo revengers are the best time travel anime because basically their stories focus on other things, time travel is just one element of the story to start it, while in steins; gate this is what the story focuses on, time travel.
