Do you guys think we will get a full proper adaption?

The manga is a masterpiece, but beside from the 1997 TV and the Movies, the 2016 adaption is meh. We all hope we will have one, but when will do you guys think we will have a high quality full adaption(from the beginning of the manga until now, and a good original ending)? Not as something for us to watch, but as a tribute for our beloved legendary author Miura Kentaro.
And if its become true, what studio do you want to be the one who will adapt it? OLM is doing pretty good this year with Odd Taxi and the adaption of Komi Can’t Communicate, so I dont mind if they adapt the series again. But sure, the top tier studios currently like ufotable, Bones, Wit studio, MAPPA,… will be a safer choice. So whats your thought?

I honestly don’t think we will get an adaption of everything from the manga unfortunately, I would like to get proven wrong though ;)

I guess we can hope for a good adaptation coming someday but they will probably ignore some panels from the manga to not make each arc feel super long

I think it will take a long time to see a proper adaptation of Berserk. If the manga is continued by Kentaro's staff and they manage to finish it, I can see a commemorative anime reboot in the form of films, ova or Tv series. Even if they don't, I can also see a scenario where the anime has an original ending. Anyway, Berserk it's a tough case. Don't expect something to happen inthe next 5 years or so

Im pretty sure that its gonna take alot of time for this to happend since the current studio needs to lose the rights in order for a better studio to get them, also the artstyle is not gonna be easy to adapt, especially without CGI in my opinion.

Since the author unfortunately passed away, I don’t think Berserk will ever finish. So the chances of a full adaptation is slim unless someone with the same unique art-style carries it on

The 2016 adaptation is "meh"? More like disastrous and nauseating. The movies are at best like a more visually ugly summary of the 1997 anime.

I don't think we will ever get an adaptation that comes close to the 1997. Miura having passed away and leaving the manga unfinished decreases the chance of an adaptation happening at all.

I don't think we'll ever get a proper anime adaptation without heavily watering down the storylines, the violence and rape like in both 1997 and 2016.

My question is why is 1997 called Kenpuu Denki (Blazing Wind Sword or something like that)

Anime studios usually don't own the rights to the animes they're adapting. They are just hired by the production committee. It seems that the production committee doesn't sense money in starting it from scratch, but it's not impossible.

Yeah I do think the series need CGI to look good NGL. So I do think that only Orange or MAPPA can make a good adaption. Sure they can collab, like how Bones & Orange collab for Godzila Singular Point. But this project would need a huge amount of money to adapt, so IDK if there are any anime studio that want to take a risk to do this.

I dont say it need to be better than manga. It just need a good adaption. Like if use MAL point, its 8+. I do think that if we have a proper adaption, it should be dethrone FMAB down so it could stand at the same level as the manga. But thats tough. So I do think 8+ is enough.

Berserk has already had three attempts at adaptations, two of which were in the 2010s alone. I don't think its popular in Japan enough to warrant another when the manga is incomplete. The only way I see an adaptation is if Netflix or Amazon funds it.

Unless the studio is dedicated towards Berserk and Miura-sensei and is willing to adapt all of Berserk, I think it's nearly possible that the anime will do any justice to the manga.
