| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The dirty dealings with the past is creeping up between the leaders...but the rap battles must go on regardless. Semi-Final Battle 2: Fling Posse vs. Matenrou, and Doppo's acting his usual wrecked nervousness, while Ramuda's getting a secret offer by the top brass with a top-secret HypMic to defeat Jakurai in order to achieve his goals a.k.a every man for himself. Says the person who broke up The Dirty Dawg in the 1st place, and being treated like a dog on a leash to Chuuoku. Time for the battle, and the pairings: Doppo and Hifumi vs. Dice and Gentaro, and the leaders Jakurai vs. Ramuda. Things are not looking good for Matenrou's start, but rather taking it individually, and regardless, going as a group together is the ideal way (and playing it fair), and keeping it stylish to the end. Doppo's one sudden Aggretsuko personality revolt though, that was splendid to save Matenrou's position into the finals. It's gonna take more than underhanded tactics to break their wills. Matenrou's ED for the finale group ED, that's as fitting to finish the series on a high note. |

| Man, that was some nice epic comeback moments, Doppo. Never underestimated the power of the overworking employer. They might've burnt you with their wrath till the death if you can't watch your mouth. The same conditions to Fling Posse, unfortunately for them. But, well, Ramuda and the rest of the team did a nice decision to put those junk mic to the grounds. They had a freedom to do what they were desires, no one could put them under such an intimidation. So, i hope Ramuda learnt something from his friends and not dying at the somewhere else. Overall the episode felt really nice again on my minds, despite their convoluted backstory, that somehow still didn't match up with my mind. Well, lets judge it in the end of the show, then! |

| Despite knowing the result due to following their works, seeing Doppo's comeback was pretty awesome. We get to see more of Ramuda's dual personality in this one, lots of great expressions in this episode lol. Idk why but this rap battle felt a little short compared to the previous one? Maybe it's just me? Next is Matenrou vs MTC, I'm excited to see how it'll play out in the anime! |

| Last week I predicated Fling Posse was gonna win via shenanigans. They almost did but glad to see they tried the more honourable route. Even if it did cost them. Honestly thought they won from their group effort so greatly surprised to see Materno take the V here. Curious to see how it all goes down now. |
| as an anime-only, I was really confused by the side plot to mind control Jakurai. Ramuda has been my least favorite character because of how obnoxious he is, but I was not expecting him to have a dual persona of being a sort of antagonist? And they wanted to mind control Jakurai to use him for his, healing singing...? I'm guessing the anime is only using bit and pieces from the original source material, which could explain why the sudden convoluted plot is hard to understand Three more episodes to go. I'm guessing the next ep will be MTC vs. Matrenro. And after that? They gonna revolt against the leader. |
| dayummmmm Doppo with the overkill, holy shit that was the best verse yet he absolutely destroyed them lmao. Hard to choose who to root for between Ramuda or Doppo so I didn't really mind either or. I did like how this battle was a lot less one sided than the one last time though, I actually thought for a sec the posse guys were gonna win. Though I guess as soon as Ramuda was set to be the "bad guy" it was obvious who would come out o ntop |

| Doppo is amazing and Ramuda is an annoying twat. Seriously though, is this the best "rap" Japan can produce? It's not like I was expecting anything on the level of Enter the Wu or anything, but this is So. Bad. |

| Holy shit, I thought it was a wrap for Matenro but, Doppo went beast mode. I didn't expect that at all lmao that was great. I definitely enjoyed that rap battle way more than last episode, probably because there was no explosions every fucking turn. Damn, Ramuda was the one responsible for breaking up the Dirty Dawgs. Well makes sense that the women would want to break them up since they'll be very powerful together. Looking forward to Matenro vs MTC, I want to see another beast Doppo. |

| Holy shit. That was an interesting division rap battle between Fling Posse vs. Matenro. It seems that the Party of words want sleazy Ramuda to use the secret weapon of a powerful hypnosis mic to obtain Ill-Doc's power of healing. Matenro got off to a bad start in the rap battle despite going first and Doppo fell victim to stage fright. So it was down to Gigolo and Ill-Doc vs. Fling Posse in a 2 on 3 matchup. I almost thought that the anime was going to pull a swerve and let Fling Posse win, but my boy Doppo got back up and start snapping on Fling Posse with his suicidal flow knocking Fling Posse out of the ring. So Matenro wins by ring out and the stage is set for the finals between MTC vs. Matenro. My two favorite groups. |

| Definitely way better lyrics than the other semifinal but the idea of Doppo winning the battle all by himself because he went berserk at the last second felt rather anticlimactic to say the least. Still glad Matenrou won tho. |
| I think the last battle was way more intense than this one. Probably because of MTC and bb's style. Last episode Samatoki and Ichiro were bleeding and all of them (aside from Samatoki) fainted at the stage (or sth like that hahahah) I'm not a fan of ramuda's rap. I like cute stuff but he is usually annoying. But I hope one day he can get rid of chuoku I wish they could give more credit to Jakurai and Hifumi. Almost every time that MTR is rapping they focus too much on Doppo. I like Doppo, but, again, it would be nice to see more from Hifumi and Jakurai. |

| Very glad Matenrou won since Ramuda is looking very shady. Very amusing to see Doppo destroy them. I guess Jakurai is the healer of the group so hes not as strong in offense. I am worried about Ramuda now. |
