----------------------------------------
Texas is being prepped for the GR1 clone, very ominous tone about it, Daisaku can no longer sense GR1 because of the Avatar extraction as he and the mercenary head to an island. Daisaku is taken to an underground lab, and the mercenary mentions Texas was his subordinate and that he will return as the merc parts with Daisaku, who is then taken to see V in some mysterious chamber.

The rookie journalists talk about how the BFN's mission statement and satellite propagated the active pursuit of truthful, unbiased information to everyone, inspiring these viewers to now expose the truth on the internet when it failed to cover the GR stories of late.

The BFN were already privy to the arrival of the GR2 in Turkey at the beginning of the series, so it is assumed they have some affiliation with GRO ultimately after all. V's mother explains some spiritual root of God creating humans with a universal language, but with the creation of the Tower of Babel, it was seen as an affront to God, who then chose to muddle and differentiate languages, but those ancient languages still exist deep in our brains.

The merc is revealed to have been a GRO test subject as well in a cutaway, and the reporters deduce that BFN's main location is in the head of GRO, but then Maria grapples with the weight of unveiling BFN's propagandist methods to the world, but is reaffirmed by the rookie reporters, now becoming part of their rogue INO reporting group.

The GRO base is attacked, with much of the group fleeing for the South Pole while Daisaku tries to escape with V, Hodges pilots a GR to go meet Texas in battle.

What's going on with Max and BFN directly doesn't feel quite clear still, and V's mom mentioning those stories about the Tower of Babel creates a thematic relation, but the hard plot details about where BFN is or at least, where Max is, what cards he's holding, etc don't seem clear yet. With V's mom giving that big (cryptic) infodump more rooted in abstractions and legends, and Hodges preparing for battle before and everything before we see any sort of evidence about his child or anything, the way this endgame (or close to it) is playing out seems kind of sudden and roundabout. Hopefully the final 2 episodes get to the heart of things better.

Daisaku just can't seem to get to activate GR-1 reliably, though there is at least a more authentic reason for it this time, with the "Avatar" transferred over to GR-4. Doubt we'll see it in action again, outside of an improbable deus ex machina.

Celestine (V's mother) also resigning herself to fate with the collapsing base. Seems like only the respectable characters in this anime have such unfortunate ends, but the good always die young.

I'll be a bit forgiving on this series, this was one of the better episodes. It doesn't make me a fan, but it did have some interesting parts, and was certainly better than the last 6 or 7 eps.

Still, can't say I'm excited for the next two eps lol, but am happy I'm almost done with it and only two to go! lol
