Yeah, this episode was it. I've been kind of watching this anime while doing other stuff, so I feel like I miss stuff. But this one really caught my attention.

This was a good episode. A good anime episode in general. I'm a sucker for sad stuff like this. I wish all the previous episodes were like this. They only get to me sort of, and not for long. This one had me invested the entire episode.

This was good.

I knew she has a huge death flag on her. Still, it hit hard. Jun's past was really sad.

Still with that sad past, she became what she is now. It was funny how she has to through ALL of that work but she's has so much energy. Gotta love Jun.

Amusement park & rollercoaster theme with friend in hospital reflects well with her super busy job fill in.
Jun's impersonations were so spirited & great lol. There's even LoveLive & akb48 references.
Directing was superb on par with Miyako & Miu episodes. Had lots of deathflags with that kyoani-styled Yuu, but still hit hard while holding her undelivered letter, like fits right in as an Evergarden episode. Almost feels like current Jun is living with the strength of two souls.

Jun is such an energic girl. Her childhood is so sad she had a long breathing and always going home early from school. Jun character change when meet Yuu in the same room of hospitality . Very touchy story.

Very sad and emotional episode.

Poor Yuu. That death scene was so difficult to watch. I felt so sorry for both Yuu and Jun.

However, thanks to Yuu's positivity, Jun's condition improved and now she can live a healthy life.

Jun did a great job in this episode while the rest of the group members were sick. I'm so proud of her.

Lol at this scene. Although this episode was generally very sad, it still had plenty of funny moments as well.

I'm getting sick of those manipulative, cliche backstories. It's getting more and more hilarious. I mean the second you see this kid you know, she's gonna die and Jun is gonna copy her genki behavior.
And i'm utterly impressed by this clinic where ill kid can easily ascend on the roof and then fucking fall from it.
Also i don't think you can physically run or sing with such lung's illness.

This episode title, Happy☆Jet☆Coaster, had me thinking for a moment. It's strikingly similiar to a song from The iDOLM@STER Million Live, Happy☆Lucky☆Jet Machine, and Jun has brown hair tied into a side tail similar to the song's singer, Nao Yokoyama.

I actually liked this episode. Heartfelt all around, and Jun's really gutsy with all that she's gone through. Though, I'm uncertain about the running pattern of every character having deep-seated personal issues driving them to become idols, but I do like how the show is taking the time to explore all their individual reasons. I'd just like it if there were at least one or two characters that had, well, less dramatic reasons?

Lastly, the staff really brushed off mass food poisoning, huh.

I was thinking Yuu looked related to Yui Hirasawa or Rikka Takanashi, lol

Sorry, Miyako. Rewatch has cleared my doubts, Jun has won the competition for best girl and i think this time it's final.

After other recents events of life happened since first airing 5 years ago, this episode is easily able to strike even harder. In hindsight Yuu was doomed to begin with but even in 2020 i refused to think about the worst possible aftermath about her until it was actually (brutally) shown. Jun couldn't personally give the best payback for the kindness receive and bursted into ugly crying, telling words i also told a few months ago (in late 2024 my older cat went from being way too hyperactive to... not existing anymore in just a short week), and somehow Yuu's life moved into Jun's clearing her own sickness and turning into a enthusiast one.

The other half of events was just a normal series of consequences at this point... poor her not even being able to have lunch properly, but still pulled off all those way too close appointments. The best part was obviously her impersonating the missing members, and even in such a emotional episode she easily managed to make me laugh hard (already from the beginning with that diva introduction of clothes, attitude and turning sunglasses down) and somehow reference directly or indirectly the Love Live series three times: "Nico-Nico-Run" changing just three letters but using the same tone (and i had to turn my look at the Nico Yazawa pillow on my bed), "Music Start" before pointing at the screen, and that scared twitched eye possibly borrowed from another girl (Eli Ayase) when (season 1 spoilers)
(save your time and don't try to comfort when i rant on casual discussion or forum games, feel free to ignore me, i won't take it personally)
