What do u think is wrong with this anime award winner list? And how will u correct it? For me, 1. Frozen definitely should never won as it is a western cartoon and not a japanese anime. 2. Kimi no Nawa / Your Name should won over A Silent Voice in 2017. 3. I Want to Eat Your Pancreas or Mirai no Mirai should won in 2019. What other corrections should be done? |

| @Pylia Hmm, interesting... I totally agree that Made in Abyss should be a winner in 2019 and majority people should also agree about that. I personally agree that Kill la Kill ahould be a winner as well, but i think majority would still choose SnK. I really want to make my own version of anime award, but i don't really remember in what year each anime comes out, and too lazy to look it up. XD |

| "What's wrong with this anime award winner list?" Nothing wrong...or more accurately nothing unexpected here. This is your standard trash taste in anime. Look at MAL Top Anime for details. You shouldn't care about it. Just enjoy those titles that are really good (from your POV). I may get some flak for calling Ping Pong The Animation, ceratin Ghibli ect. deserving praise anime "trash" but I highly doubt that those were chosen for their actual qualities...only for being popular and making some money. This is practically people acting on a whim and jumping on hype trains than calling this taste. Thus the highly inconsistent trashy nature of any awards of this type. By the way I am a Detective Conan fan and despite I think that Zero The Enforcer is meh. |

| 1) Liz to aoi tori not winning best film 2018. 2) Frozen should have never won anything. It seems like they've given awards to what was most popular in each category. Koe no katachi winning is the only good thing in the whole list. |

| In Japan all animated shows are anime, only western weeaboos make that distinction. Frozen is a masterpiece and it's better than most of the anime on that list so I'm not complaining. Japan has a good taste as usual.  |

| 2014: Don't mind it maybe I would swap Attack on Titan for Kill la Kill but I enjoyed both. 2015:Song of the Sea instead of Frozen 2016:I would personally pick the boy and the beast for the film category and One Punch Man for the T.V. 2017:Mob Psycho for T.V category. 2018:Made in Abyss for T.V category. 2019:Into the Spider Verse for Film category and Shingeki no Kyojin season 3 for T.V. 2020: Promare for film category and Mob Season 2 for T.V. Overall the list is pretty fine the things that really bother me are the picks for the T.V category in the years 2018-2019. |

| I say Frozen is what's wrong with this list. Not because it's not anime by our standards (it's considered anime in Japanese standards and this seems to be some Japanese oriented awards show or something), but because Frozen is disgustingly overrated and I don't understand how people love this movie so goddamn much. At its best, it's some excuse for selling an admittedly okay soundtrack. |
