| Hard to say a character is truly overrated, rather than over-saturated/popular since it's hard to find a quorum to really account that for, but not to digress, I'll go with the True God of the New World, Light Yagami. Truth be told, a genocide on criminals isn't really what I call Just Justice into a saboteur and defense of his identity, leading to innocent casualties, but his charisma and pure insanity was so fun to watch. | um i had way too hard a time wrapping my head around what you were asking haha. i was thinking that if characters are "overrated" doesn't that imply everyone likes them? but i suppose in our community the vitriol is more vocal than the love for popular characters. i gotta go with spike spiegel. no clue if people think he's overrated or not, but ik that a lot of people like him and surprise: me too. |

| Can't say if it is overated because of the overall popularity of this particular anime being lower the most, but Reinhard Von Lohemgramm and Yang Wen-li from Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu are absolute favorites of mine, for now at least. |

| I like L and erza, they were one of the first characters that I admired. lapontantot said: top 10 fav characters are deserved, even tho its overrated but not LEVI honestly i dont get it why people adore him that much, whats special from him? just cold-blooded and your typical badass edgy guy with 0 characters thats applied to Mikasa as well Levi is mostly favorited by females, also popularity of AOT helps a lot. |

| I like Mikasa from AOT. I don't think she is overrated,her character role is awesome. Basically,I think she should've more fans. I don't think other top characters are overrated whether it's Lelouch from Code Geass or Gasai Yuno from Mirai Nikki or any other. I like them all. They deserve their role and fans like them. |
