| Man, I have a a lot that I really wish I liked either because they seem like they'd be up my alley or because so many others seem to love them: Dr. Stone, Blue Exorcist, Fate, Magi, Seven Deadly Sins, Assassination Classroom, Steins;Gate, Gurren Lagann, and Boruto. What a shame. |

| Index III. I like the Index franchise but they made a total mess of that season, it was a pain to watch (thank god there was at least a lot of Accelerator to get me through, haha) And also Haruhi. I'm still stuck on S2, but S1 was average. I would have liked it better if it wasn't for.... well, Haruhi herself. It's been a while since I disliked a character so damn much. |

| Fullmetal Alchemist. I enjoyed the start but somewhere in the middle, it just started to get boring for me. And I really did have high hopes for it seeing as it was, and is, the #1 anime on MAL and so highly rated by so many people. It still wasn't bad(I gave it a 7), but it never quite reached the expectations I had of it. |

| Monogatari series. Bakemonogatari was kinda good. Tsukimonogatari was cool. I tried to watch the rest of the series so many times but I give up after a half of the first episode. The same story goes on and on and on. The only show that I liked which had that type of short stories was Mushishi. But Monogatari didn't work for me. |
| The two anime that I really wanted to like are already mentioned a lot by the other users but I guess I’ll still reply. I couldn’t enjoy Your Lie in April and Gurren Lagann as much as I tried to like them. Both are very highly praised series, and I know they are good, but I just couldn’t seem to enjoy it? Yes, the characters in Your Lie in April were tragic and you had the chance to sympathize with them but I somehow really couldn’t. It isn’t really the fault of the show, it’s a personal problem. As for Gurren Lagann, I have a very stupid reason as to why I couldn’t enjoy it. I remember for one episode ( or maybe for the rest of the series? ) the animation style changed. It wasn’t even that big of a change I think. I don’t remember whether it was for the good or bad but I never like it when an art style changes suddenly. It bugged me for the rest of the time I watched it. I also didn’t like Viral. If I remember correctly, he kept disappearing and reappearing in fights like please just defeat him in one or two attempts. Again though, I don’t think the series was bad it’s just that I couldn’t enjoy it. |

| Sunday Without God first episode seemed like just my type of anime. Kanata no Astra Again, great first episode had me really happy that I found something I'd like. Both of these shows followed a similar trajectory. Excellent first episode, gradual decline in quality until it ends in a flaming trainwreck. |
