Anime where MC starts as a child but grows up to adulthood

A good example of this is Major. Anime starts with Goro when hes 4 and ends when hes like 40. Any anime that you think is good that has MC that starts out younger but then becomes an adult will do, though character development is the main point. Thank you.

Thats a tricky one; sorry. The Major is a good example and one of a kind. This is different genre but sci fi action - Gurren Laggen start with child around 10 until episode 15 where there is a time skip and he is an adult. Its only a 27 episode anime. It does have good development but its fast. Nothinf like Major

I mean DragonBall through Dragon Ball Z/Super follows Goku from child up until he has two kids, the youngest who's his age when the series started.

Unless you're looking for slice of life about growing up and I totally misinterpreted this, in which case I'm sorry.

Shinsekai Yori and Kemono no Souja Erin are the first ones that come to mind.

Especially Erin goes in detail of the development of the mc, from child to woman.

"Once a weeb, always a weeb".

I don't know if this meets your genre requirements but I'm surprised no one said Naruto. It's pretty long (220 Eps Naruto, 500 Eps Shippuden, and 100 Eps Boruto airing) not including the 8 two hour movie. He starts out at 13 (though he looks like 10) and at the start of shippuden he is 16. I think he is 37 in Boruto (which follows his 13 year old son). If you like shounen it's worth the watch.

Dragon Ball or Ginga Nagareboshi Gin are someone that comes to mind

Ginga Nagarebosh is mainly about dogs and not humans, but you follow Gin,s life from hes birth as pup to adulthood ,one of my favorite anime

Toward the Terra (kid to adult, though the psychics don't really age physically very much, since they can live for hundreds of years but the younger ones do and he still acts more mature. Still, there are large chunks of time passage)

+Beast player erin, it may seem childish but it never backs down when there is gore scenes. One of the best anime, only drawback is lot of flashback, you could fastforward at those places.
