| My God. For a moment there I really thought that Hisone and Eru will break their necks after they were spit out by their dragons. From the slow motion shot just before it looked like they will hit the land with the heads backwards with no neck guard in sight. I not sure that neck guard is mandatory for pilots jet fighters because they have chair to lean back into during flight and also ejection. But dragon pilots really need some kind of mechanism that would fix helmet in place during ejection. Ok it is enough of me overthinking fictional dragon pilot gear. |

| Great episode. I really love how the love interests are handled in this series. So do the dragons require monogamy? We'll see. |
| Quite intriguing episode and although I'm not really a fan of the romantic drama this series is having, I can understand its purpose in the story. However, I still think the decision of having Hoshino falling in love could have been written in a better way I mean, I don't really care much about her character but seriously, couldn't they find her a better love interest? Anyways, the episode as a whole was pretty interesting and now, I'm really curious to know how things will play out since two pilots are unable to use their dragons. |
| why were the superior officers surprised? they told us a few episodes ago that they need to make the pilots fall in love then break their love, in that way they will become better pilots or something like that. The plan worked, now they only need to tell the guys to break up with them or cheat them, stuff like that. I knew it, nothing good comes out of okada mari shows |

| I don't understand why the brass didn't just isolate the girls before the important ritual. I mean there was literally no need for them to have any contact to either the pilots or the shrine maidens. And even the contact to the ground crew could have been kept to a minimum. Even if their intial plan was to make them fall in love and then break the love - they should have been aware that the closer they get to the time of the ritual the less this will be an option. |
