8 years, no sequel

So, this year eve no jikan will make 8 years since the movie was release and yet we got no confirmation of a sequel. im very depressed, anyone knows if it have a visual novel or manga that continues where the ONA and movie left?

What gives people the thought that there has to be a sequel? Did Yoshiura state it anywhere?

there is a manga with a lot of extra scenes if you want
the thing is... not all of them are translated to english, you can find a few chapters that translated but not all of them afaik

I wonder if Sing a Bit of Harmony could be set in the same universe since the androids in both anime have ports and sockets in the stomach area.

I am a sucker for these types of shows (Planetarian and Plastic Memories too)… I grew up reading Asimov’s robot stories and novels and love how this incorporated his 3 laws. I loved this movie so much. Hard to believe there’s not a series, or at least a sequel or two…

Why do we need a sequel when the ending is good? Instead, check out Yoshiura Yasuhiro's other new works, such as Sing a Bit of Harmony.

I think everyone is talking about the ? that was put at the end of the credits. I'm probably not the only one that thought it meant more was coming since the plot point of the cafe's future was left hanging

His other works are decent and flawed, while Time of Eve remains his best work even with the ending left wanting more... I would actually love a sequel.

I didn't know he had original plans to do so.
I guess 2+ years more he might actually want to explore this universe again with a sequel.
Otherwise, I think he's given up for whatever reason.

13 years, nearing 20 seems incredibly doubtful now unfortunately.
I wonder if anyone ever questioned him about it. I hate how Japanese Media is so secretive about things like this.

I wish he'd give a clear no at this point instead of leaving our hopes up.
