| What!? Over 150 Pokemon!? That's insane, no one could ever catch 'em all! And that's crazy talk, could there actually be other generations of Pokemon yet to be discovered? I was a little surprised by James' innuendo, "So size does matter", because it's 4Kids, and I can't see them putting that in there lol. Also, that was a huge Dragonite. | Ash definitely didn't earn the badges, but he totally caught some of the Pokemon. Though, Misty and Brock could've had Charmander. That one was definitely anybody's game. Also, this episode was very good. It bothered me that Bill said Dragonite was one of a kind, etc. It's clearly not. Even in that region, Lance has a Dragonite or three. Still, great episode. |

| one of the few episodes i had in VHS (this and the next one), what a nostalgic episode and times, where talking about how much pokemon there are - over 150, and huge dragonite considered one of a kind. funny that everyone's cookers had gone vacation. |
| Super good episode. Although, the fact of "150 pokemon" was totally retconned as which is a shame but oh well. Also, that giant dragonite was super cool and it was nice learning more about extinct pokemon and it does feel more and more similar to the animals on planet earth. Bill was quite intelligent and I feel bad for him. I didn't realize how massive the dragonite was until it stood next to team rocket lmao |

| i remember being blown away by this ep as a little kid realizing the whole Dragonite part is a Godzilla reference. that and the spookiness and the classy lore dumping about the secrets of the ancient pokemon and yep it's still a GOD tier episode. can remember being pissed off all day at school over Team Rocket shooting the Charizard ooooooooooo Brock & Misty dancin the night away ^_^ |

| For someone that said he was going to catch all the Pokémon, Ash is going very slowly. He doesn't even have a spearow yet even though he came across many of them already. But he did catch a few, even if we don't count the ones that decided to go with him, so Misty was very unfair to him. And it's a bit strange that Bill was acting as if Dragonite was an unknown Pokémon when they clearly already know it because he's one of the 150. A Pokémon researcher should have recognised it. |
