| This is one the major games I wanted on the Switch. I have high hopes for it, saw videos and gameplay of it. I'm very impressed by it. In short, I think it's safe to say this game's bought me lol I already love most the characters they added, if they add more I cant wait to see who and I'd love to use and scan amiibos too. |
| I probably won't be purchasing it, but not because of the roster, which I admit doesn't really excite me. Hyrule Warriors was my first time giving one these Musou games a try, and it didn't really do it for me. Plus, this releases around the same time as Mario Odyssey and I'd rather spend my money on that. Still, I hear it has support conversations which is nice. |

| I never agreed that Camilla was bad because she was sexy. I agreed she was bad because she had no depth to her character. To be honest, Lyndis isn't THAT deep, but she's surrounded by a cast with meaningful stories, which all engage in meaningful dialogue. And although she's not all that deep, she's deeper still with dialogue surrounding the origin of her birth, and how her past helps her to connect with the individuals she has supports with. And on the erotic front, again I have zero complaints. In fact rather than mind it I welcome it. And in this aspect, Lyn wins again. No one is even sure if she wears pantsu. Lyn may very well go commando into the middle of battle, which is pretty hot. |
| I havn't played a Dynasty Warrirors style game before but I love Fire Emblem and look forward to getting this on the Switch. I don't mind the character selection even though the Fates games are not in my favourite Fire Emblems. If the game is successful it would be nice to see a sequel with a different set of characters represented or a huge roster update dlc or something. |

| I admit, I fell out of love with Fire Emblem stuff after Awakening was super easy and I noticed fans were only in it for ships now... And suddenly fans actually cared about "censorship" when oldschool fire emblem fans were just happy to get the game at all... *sigh* Newbie Fire Emblem fans really are annoying. All the new fans hate the ds games and honestly most wont even try the older games cause they don't have ships in them. *sigh* They call the newer games "too hard" and couldn't imagine the game without casual mode.... I mean I guess it is kinda like taking the Dark Souls series and then adding a casual mode and then a dating sim....And asking older fans of the series to just deal with it. But you know, just my point of view as to why we are so salty about new fans. I bought Tokyo Mirage Sessions and really enjoyed it.... but new school fans were actually the ones bitching about censorship. I know because it was on of the newbie fans I know of screaming the loudest about it and he didn't even have a Wii U. eh... (new fans want a porn game, I want a tactical RPG. We are totally different audiences!) I am used to Fire Emblem being just underground enough to where you didn't have to deal with all the people... most people... like I said... just grateful the games came to the USA at all. Kinda missing that attitude. Also I am not buying this game because of Day one DLC season pass mentality. And that is plenty reason to be turned off. I also didn't buy Breathe of the Wild. I do have Splatoon 2 though. Free DLC for a year is good. |

Even though I'm someone who got into the franchise because of Awakening I can kind of see what you mean because I've played the older games and I'm really glad I did and it's a shame people don't give them a chance. Honestly, they're not even THAT difficult if you play on normal aside from Radiant Dawn and FE5. Radiant Dawn is really hard. And I think that is the hardest one. (there should be an easier mode on that one lol) But I think yeah... the idea that there are these newer fans that want... a porn game... *barf* and not a tactical RPG... if this makes me an elitist than... yeah I guess I am. I play porn games too... just Fire Emblem is NOT a porn game. And the fact that adding such a "feature" has made it attract such a base makes me actually pretty annoyed. "fuck yeah they removed the creepy petting game you creeper!" I mean... just play a porn game if you want that stuff. It isn't that hard. XD Or play that Miku game. They have creepy petting still and it doesn't feel as out of place either. Or Pokemon if you are into that. I mean, I do blush when Marth talks to me in Awakening... not gonna lie. Dude charming. But ummm... Is that the entire reason I played? No. But for WARRIORS- the issues is squarely : SEASON PASS CULTURE IS SHIT. |
