| Wow honestly since this is kind of like isekai I expected MC to be an advocate for Japanese cuisine but looking at the episode 1 preview its nice to see that he also cook cuisine from other countries. Soy sauce is great, rice is great, miso is great but there are other much better food out there too. |

| I picked this baby up because I just love food anime in general. Pleasently suprised by how kind of wholesome this all was. The chemistry amongst the patreons and badass dragon mommy. Aletta is really cute too, she deserves nothing but happiness. This also got me to make beef stew this week, honestly inspirational. |

| @thefrog1192 Ironically, people who say this aren't newcomers. I'm a newcomer (haven't read the manga or novel) and the first episode was enjoyable to me. It's the same with my dad for Petshop of Horrors. I thought it was inferior to the manga (which it was), while he just enjoyed a short anime. |

| So far, I'm enjoying the show. It has a hint of fanservice, but it's tasteful. It's not too much and it doesn't distract from the plot. It's perfect. The woman with the red hair is gorgeous. I love her already. Though I also mirror some of the sentiments here. Is the show going to go anywhere? Personally, I'm fine with a show about the struggles of restaurant management in the fantasy world. Though at the same time, they've already brought up demons facing discrimination in the capital and they have a dragon that has powers and can fly. That tells me they're going to talk about the politics of the world, which is also exciting. |
| 4/5. That was a great first ep. Some might think it's boring but I find joy in seeing food being cooked and watching people eat tasty food so I would've been happy without the fantasy elements. There were some fanservice scenes and usually they bother me but they were pretty mild. It also helps that the chef is so well-mannered, calm, mature etc. If he acted really excited by the presence of boobs, I would've been turned off. Glad there weren't any foodgasms a la Shokugeki. Curious about the fantasy story going on concurrently. I wonder how they'll balance the fantasy story and the restaurant scenes. Are the fantasy storylines used as excuse to have characters meet up in the restaurant? Looking forward to finding out. I don't think I'd mind either way Memorable moment - I laughed when the dragon started licking from the pot like a cat. |

| Without much explanation we directly enter the other world. Reminds me a bit of another anime, where the dude would also get isekai'd every time he went to sleep. |
