They recycle designs of the character's hair color, eye color, schemes of their outfits and etc from predecessors of their mangas
Like for example Yoshihiro Togashi recycled Gon's outfit green scheme exactly like Yusuke and recycled hair and eye color.Rumiko Takahashi recycled her character's designs for Kyoukai no Rinne from most of her previously created mangas

Why recycle the character's designs? Why can't the mangaka create the original designs of the character without recycling designs from previous characters they created?

They probably are fond of it like Higashimura Akiko stated in her manga Kakukaku Shikajika that most of the male characters are based on her boyfriend during the college.

For the mangaka, it's easier to draw a design they are familiar with and have drawn page after page before instead of something completely new they have to get used to so they'll have more time to focus on the story instead of always having to think about new character designs. If it's the reader's first time reading their work, they won't notice and if the reader has read the mangaka's earlier work they'll feel accustomed with the characters more easily too. Similar designs can give the mangaka kind of a trademark, singature style.

Because they can do it and they're doing it. If you have a problem with it, I don't know what to do...

I really dislike that too, especially in shoujo manga, where every main male character looks pretty much the same in each series @_@

Osamu Tezuka recycles literally all of his character designs. He called it "star system". The mangaka of Saint Seiya did the same thing.

According to my aunt where I asked her the same question, she stated that a mangaka's hand and wrist becomes formatted for their own unique style where redrawing the same things or reusing them makes the art have more of the drawer's feel in it.

Doubt it's that easy for them to just think of a new design and draw differently. Plus, it saves time.

1- Easier to draw the same face all the time
2- This one is more important: You make people buy your manga because they have fond memories and an emotional connection to the protagonist of a previous work, who had the same face. See Mitsuru Adachi, for instance.

It's not easy to think of new designs every time you start a new manga, drawing manga isn't easy so the authors go with designs that they were familiar with previously, especially if it's a weekly manga.

Its easier for the audience to read quickly through them because they recognize it better i guess :]

cause mangakas cant draw anything else,

look at kaito kid, and kudo shinichi
It's good that Slop leveling won the CR awards with such a power gap, Gaijin Weebs don't deserve good anime.
Not after what they did to frieren, kusuriya, and many others

From my personal experience I assume that many mangaka love the designs of the characters they created. It's like building up some special relationship with your characters and it's often difficult to "let them go".
Plus, of course it is easier to draw stuff you're already used to.

It's usually just their style, granted it gets a bit irritating after they've been a mangaka for a while, looking at you Mashima.

Because there's more to both a character and person than how they look.

A lot of amateur/fan artist do the same. Same facial structure, same body type for all of their characters. They draw out of routine the things they can do with their eyes closed. Probably has something to do with them having to draw a lot to make a living so they cut corners.

It's funny that you mention Yusuke, because his design actually inspired Ging not Gon.

In the case of Osamu Tezuka, it was definitely intentional. He called it his "Star System", and he thought of them as "actors" being cast to play various roles. He literally had sheets noting what the "pay rate" of these fictitious actors were. Appropriately, many of his characters even got "type cast" over time.
He tended to have two types of actors though, the major stars, and the minor ones. Major stars, like Astro Boy or Black Jack, would basically only be in their series (but might make cameos in other series, but it would still be as Black Jack, not a character who just looks like him).

For other mangaka though, it might just have something to do with drawing ability. Maybe they can't come up with too many designs, I dunno. I find it's only a really major problem if it's within the same series (and it's not due to plot related things like "long lost twins/clones" etc). Some shonen mangaka even admit that they're not good at drawing women and they tend to look rather "cloned" as a result (Eiichiro Oda and Akira Toriyama have both poked fun at themselves for this fault of theirs)
