I dunno, can't really compare them. The battle mechanics and speed are quite different. That being said, Bloodborne gives me far more trouble than DS3.

Bloodborne is the best Soulsborne game anyway, but my love for the Lovecraftian may give me slight bias.

Bloodborne is easier than all other Souls games.

In terms of challenge, the original Dark Souls and Demon's Souls are up there.

The unbalanced thing in bloodborn is the blood vial system they are pratically infinite the estus makes you play safer because you only have 5 to 7 in early game

Both are easy as hell once you get the mechanics down.

Without the mechanics down, I'll say BB is only a little bit tougher due to no shields to hide behind.

the core game of bloodborne is a lot easier
ranged parries are broken, rallying can give you free recovery from mistakes, instant dodging with virtually infinite stamina, etc.

some frc chalices can get a little bit difficult tho

Bloodborne, specially if you count chalices.

Also the only people that say that Demon Souls was the hardest are the people that played it first. It's the easiest.

You forgot the potential for 27 vials that also basically gives instant healing :s

I just got Bloodborne this Christmas and fucking hell I can't beat it. I breezed through Dark Souls I,II, and III even up to 7th-9th playthrough, and it wasn't that much of a challenge, Started up bloodborne, can't even get 10,000 Blood things (Souls) without dying and losing my previous one. It took me literally about 20 tries to beat the second boss in Bloodborne, yet it only took me about 5-7 tries to beat the nameless king in Dark Souls 3.

From what I've heard, seen and played myself, the Dark Souls games generally get easier as the series goes on, though this is partly because the teams switched around a few times and it became more popular and thus they may have made it slightly more accessible for newer players.

Generally, it seems to go Demon's Souls >> Dark Souls >= Bloodborne > Dark Souls 2 =~ Dark Souls 3.

Demon's Souls is significantly harder than Dark Souls. No doubt this is at least partly why Dark Souls was the first one to get popular in the series. (Plus the fact that sometimes a game franchise needs one game to put to word of its existence out there, and another to make it widely known.)

Bloodborne and Dark Souls are mostly very different, people who play Bloodborne first seem to be good at Dark Souls, while vice versa that is not necessarily the case, simply because Bloodborne is faster.

For some Dark Souls 2 is harder, others Dark Souls 3. Since the team that worked on Dark Souls 3 worked on Bloodborne before that, the pacing in Dark Souls 3 is a little faster than in Dark Souls 2 (and thus the skill of people playing DS3 for the first time depended more on whether they had played Bloodborne rather than DS2). Their systems are kinda different though, so it differs, and ultimately it's kinda 50-50.

I find it a whole lot easier to die in Bloodborne than in any Souls game. But that's just me I guess.
