Monogatari Series: First Season
| So, a little while back Aniplex did a special screening for Part I Tekketsu in multiple theaters. 22 states in the US with 4 Canada cities as well. That was pretty cool! Unfortunately, I had not read the recently printed Vertical adaption of the book, so I didn't see it. I did however go back to read it 2 months later and I was absolutely blown away by it. So, like many new fans like myself, we were anticipating a subbed screening. And, in October of this year, our wish had been granted.. http://kizumonogatari-usa.com/theater.html ..but not exactly how I imagined it. For whatever reason, Part II is screening in one theater down in California. I only ask why, and demand that Aniplex at least put out a statement. "Coming to U.S. theaters" my ass. And for everyone who doesn't live in Cali and or don't want to spend $100+ for a flight there including myself, we're all SOL. Thanks Aniplex. |
| First screening at AkibaFest on October 15th will definitely not be the only one. The following week, on October 22nd, the movie will premiere in various theaters around the US; likely in the same ones they displayed the first movie back in February-March of this year. Some theaters even began selling the tickets in advance. If in demand, Aniplex US might even consider a third or fourth screening. There's no way they'd only screen it once. |

| Oh well. Watch it after 6-8 months like the rest of us via Download Torrent. ... I read the book back in 2013 and bought it recently so I can refresh my memory of the details. Plus I still have the first movie saved on my computer drive to rewatch when I want to. ... So I'm good. |

| Just finished watching this in NY. It was fantastic. Loved every second of it and I'd love to watch it again. But I'm guessing an official discussion thread can't be made till more people seen it in their states. |

You guys from UK at least have the lucky u have conditions for buying the BD, here, i need give all my body If i want buy the BDs from what I like. |
