| Just.. wow. I had a feeling Kaeda was going to ask Tatsuhiko to kill him as she gave me flashbacks to a character named Shizuka in the Fukumoto manga Kurosawa. But she went the next step. She bumped Tatsuhiko to make him drop Yamazaki like a complete psychopath. If he truly is dead that's the second death by pushing in this manga. The way he landed definitely didn't look okay, and Tatsuhiko was in danger too. I'm seriously shocked right now so I guess I'll zone in on the specific things. Another place of questionable morality which Tatsuhiko bares is his tolerance for people. If they show any sign of remorse or responsibility or an attempt to better themselves or even weakness like in Hideyoshi's case he may forgive them. He forgave Hideyoshi who did some of the most heinous acts to him in the manga. However, he often uses the phrase "I'll kill you", or "You wanna die?", and I thought they were hyperbole. Despite the fact that Tatsuhiko often sees people in two camps, those he can respect and utter trash, I believed he could never follow through with those words. Because as he would beat someone to death like with Hideyoshi he would see their human weakness and have sympathy for them. Yet holding trash by its throat above a set of stairs was in character, I still didn't think he'd drop him and perhaps he could never without a push. The fact he didn't overtly show concern whether or not he killed Yamazaki took me by surprise however, I was expecting more shock, that doesn't mean none of that was there it could have been behind his utter shock Kaeda was so dangerous. But, it made me think, perhaps Tatsuhiko would be capable of ending those he sees as scum if he did it fast enough to not feel compassion for them... Meanwhile Kaeda is a total psycho, and Inukai is a total sociopath. Both parties are manipulating their partner. The fact Kaeda was able to kill someone so easily makes me think she's definitely deceiving everyone for her own gain, she is cruel. Even Tatsuhiko started to see her as a bad girl and we didn't think it could happen. And Inukai just led Aoi further into his trap, he made her feel bad for his situation, overjoyed he likes her so much, and he even let her know that he'd respect her more if she as in AV. He had her around his finger, the panel where he said "that would be AV' in total disgusting victory made me feel sick... I guess I should also mention how Kiryu-esque(from Yakuza) the encounter at the beginning felt. Outside of the threatening to kill him anyways. Occasionally Tatsuhiko's preaching comes out and he gives me total Kiryu vibes, where he will scare the hell out of someone and possibly beat them up but give them a life lesson and a chance to grow from this. "Make her fall in love with you as a man!", if only he listened perhaps he would be alive right now. o-o |
