I just finished Harmony, a late 2015 film that I really loved. But opinions are pretty mixed. | I'm back again... Since we have Minky Momo in Bridge Over Dreams, Minky Momo in Station of Your Memories is a logical addition. Really enjoying Tenshi na Konamaiki so far. Gunsmith Cats is seriously underwatched and underappreciated. Cencoroll is one of the ones I liked a lot. Interestingly enough, Initial D only has 62k members. Jin-Roh is a great one. I personally enjoyed Murder Princess a lot. Omoide no Marnie, the most recent Ghibli film, hasn't got nearly the attention it deserves. Otaku no Video by Gainax is a great half-mockumentary and decent half-otaku subculture drama. Robotica*Robotics is quite an odd one, but it's quite short at only 10 minutes. And I'll probably be back next month with a few more, since I love watching the more obscure stuff. |

| This are some of my favorite series (except for Lil' spider which I despise but for personal reasons) that I consider "hidden gems" (not a lot of people talking about them, scored barely over 7, low in the ranking and usually less than 80k completed.) I believe they are not on the relations list. Mostly comedy except for Joker Game and Wasurenagumo. Chio-chan no Tsuugakuro (hidden gem of it season, comedy gold) Joker Game (it has 77k completed but I still think it's not as well known as It should be) Machikado Mazoku Sabagebu! Wasurenagumo (this movie validated my fear of spiders) Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san Akkun to kanojo (I seriously don't know why this got such a low rating, I think it's good enough to be consider a gem -well it in my top 10 fave so I might be bias lol hopefully you guys will think so too xD) I'm so sorry but I'm on mobile so adding the links is basically impossible 🙏🙏 |
| Andersen Douwa: Ningyohime (Hans Christian Anderson's The Little Mermaid, 1975) Faithful adaption of Andersen's fairy tale, which means it's sad and hasn't a happy end. Animation style is rather simple, but the story telling is fantastic. Disney's "Arielle" copied many scenes and character designs. A true forgotten masterpiece. (7/10) It's available on youtube in several uploads and languages. I'd recommend this for inclusion into club relations, as it is a highly influential anime - Disney's Arielle heavily draws from it.
