| In contrast to some recent series, like Koukaku no Pandora and Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio, the idea that an artificial intelligence must experience feeling and love does not look pretty here. Love in this story is selfish—"I don't care what her 'like' means, I want her to remember me forever"/"I want to know everything about her"—and Chika could literally have destroyed that which she loved, leaving herself burnt. But while the engineers may be most concerned with what made Praha modify and mithe herself so much, I'm more interested to see how the manga deconstructs Chika's psyche. |
