| No contest here, NGNL is far, far better. The 11 year old fanservice is a little weird but other than that I don't think there's a single category that SAO wins in. |

| After carefully thinking it over, I also have to choose NGNL for several reasons: *Genre. If it's gaming you want, both deliver BUT NGNL delivers on a whole different level. It's not just VR, it's literally every game a human could play. Chess, cards, video games, games of every single kind. This really increases the target audience. And it is a smarter show, I feel. *Otaku humor. I don't think I need to elaborate. *Sora doesn't have a harem. although I think he should XD *No cringe-worthy villains. The "villain" if we can call Tet that, is captivating. We know so little about him but he has a very ominous presence, aside from being cute as a button and visually interesting. *No attempted rape *Shiro >>>>> Sillica. No offense, Sillica. *Visually the most gorgeous show it's ever been my pleasure to lay eyes on. I mean, holy shit. DEM COLORS |

| i read and watched both .NGNL is definetly better than SAO(not saop), ngnl has more straight to the point development than sao, i dont even understand sao's main objective(survive>love>then what??>more vr or what ever you call it??) saop is just a side story sao was good at start though(aside from the harem-ish chapters/eps) |
