I need some help searching for anime. i'm new to this Genre, here is MAL:

The only downside is the ending to White Album 2 made me feel like shit, so keep that in mind
I don't care how long it is.

I suggest you start with Steins;Gate though.

1st episode will confuse you but the rest is smooth sailing.

If you like Naruto then you should probably check out One Piece and Bleach. Both of them are really popular, but very long. If you want something shorter I recommend:
Death Note - clever plot. battle of wits. if you write a name in this notebook the person will die

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - two brothers use alchemy to fight people and look for a philosophers stone, amzing show.

Hunter x Hunter(2011) - mainly about 2 boys who become hunters and fight people. animation is awesome, plot is clever, also really good.

Log Horizon - Similar to sword art but the players can respawn if they die. more strategy based

Tokyo Ghoul - good animation, decent plot. ghoul's eat people for sustenance, have abilities and fight

Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) - darker show. titans (giants with creepy faces) eat people and wreck humanity, main character joins army to try and fight back

Fate/Zero - mages summon heroes from history to fight to the death for the Holy Grail

Akame ga Kill - a band of assassin's fights for the revolutionary army to overthrow a corrupt capital

Baccano! - about a bunch of mafia gangs in chicago in the 1930s, the story is told in a clever way.

Start with Bleach since it seems you like Naruto.

I think you should start with the classics such as Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Yu Yu Hakusho etc.

Anyway, feel free to look at my list, maybe you'll find something that suits your taste.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood was my introduction to anime and is still my fave. Good balance of action, comedy, & character development, plus an intriguing plot and great universe.
