| I love any series that showcases food and how to make it. I haven't tried tanenoko gohan before but I'd love to try it out :D This show was overshadowed severely by Shougeki no Souma. It's true that sex sells but SnS's storyline is more action-packed and not many people like watching slice-of-life series like KG. |

| That's a lot of carbohydrates there. Those girls are going to grow in ways they don't want to. Still, this is turning out to be a pretty decent food fan-service anime. |

| "You can't just imitate stuff you see in stories and expect it to be the same." So how many weebs do you figure couldn't resist the urge to shove a raw bamboo shoot into their mouths after they watched this one? This was easily my favorite episode so far. I love meta humor like this. I too have tried to make anime food and seen how hard it is to make it look as tasty as it does in fiction. (The closest I managed was some Pokemon Curry. It looks accurate in the pot, but Japanese curry DOES NOT has the consistency to heap high on a plate. It's more liable to run and spill.) |
