Awesome episode! Tenzen just turns out to be the ultimate bad guy in this thing. Great series, although it didn't get really good until right around now. Can't wait to see what happens now.

Ok, so lets see, Gennosuke has a strong Doujutsu, but what's the point on having a strong doujutsu if he had his eyes closed for the entire anime?
It's kinda ridiculous, in my opinion.

It's called "Basilisk" for a reason :I And if you are not familiar with what a Basilisk IS and how it's related to eyes, go look it up. The fact that both Oboro and Gennosuke have powerful techniques that are activated when someone looks into their eyes, and that they both had their eyes sealed for about half the series...next time, before you complain, USE YOUR BRAIN e__e

And I disagree with the first poster who said this series is only now getting great. It's always been a really good anime <3 This episode was especially awesome tho x3

So in the end, Tenzen was responsible for everything.

Awesome episode indeed, and awesome fight as well. Can't wait to see the next episode.

Btw, Tenzen was the obvious culprit for a while now.

Tenzen the culprit? Well, my....what a shocker! I never saw that coming.

For a moment I thought we might be heading for a kill em all end but I can actually see a solution now if the other Kyoga woman is willing to cooperate. Strangely enough, Tenzen would have been the one man she could have been able to marry, dude could have revived every time they did it.

I had a feeling Tenzen had something to do with it all when he was still the same age in the flashbacks back to when Oboro's grandma was a young woman as well.

Prediction for the last 2 episodes: Oboro is finally able to open her eyes and stops Tenzen, which allows Gennosuke to kill him, but he sustains heavy injuries and dies after the battle. Oboro chooses to live on and becomes the greatest leader they have ever known, and unites the Kouga and Iga.

The writer for this manga is a damn good one, at first everything seemed grey there was no protagonists as both clans had a feud of 400 years. However, as the story develops clearly Tenzen was big evil as his wish was for his clan to be at the top at any cost through deception, war and etc. I've noticed that a lot of writers are failing at writing a real villain most of these current ones come off as protagonist's or anti hero's as they usually have just reasons of why they are doing certain things, while making the perceived protagnists look like the actual villians. Tenzen is literally big evil there's nothing reedemable about him at all.

Gennosuke finally decided to do something, and it only took 22 episodes...in a series that has 24 episodes.
