| I'm loving it. Its much more in depth than most sport mangas like Kuroko, theres a lot of mental preparation and strategy. And god thepath's comment is just proof of the "ohmahgodneedsuperpowguys" Seriously the characters are much more fun to watch than Kuroko, thats why they have a high rating... Because people are enjoying watching these guys. And its normal they aren't badass, from the start they describe it as an "akward" team and they just started training. Hinata and Kageyama are already becoming a super rookie duo and they haven't even started the competition yet. And Kuroko as good as it is, is complete bullshit, with impossible movements, powerups. CONSTANT powerups. Kagami for example gets better and better during a match when sometimes its impossible. Haikyuu is following a very realistic path compared to this. You can't compare both. Hinata develops little by little, but god its amazing when he reaches higher levels. |

| The show is hilarious, has very likable characters, beautiful animation, and just has a good sport to follow. And I like how they don't really have super powers and yet the games still get intense. The show deserves its score. |

| LOL tbh to me sports anime should stay sports anime. I dont hate kuroko, but I cant stand all the unusual power ups and stuff that doesnt actually happen in real basketball. Maybe because I'm an athlete so I want to see more realistic sports strategy and game play. If I really want to watch supernatural powers I would've looked for other genre and not sports. But this is an anime we're talking about, so there's no avoiding it, just like how we see there's people who cant stand sports without supernatural powers. To the author of this thread, if you think this anime is boring because you cant find any super powers from the players, then stop watching sports anime as it's not for you, go look for shounen. Personally this anime have been getting me excited from the first episode all the way till now, I love the suspense in the game, the way they push their bodies to the limit just to connect a successful spike, going all the way down just to make a receive. The high score is not misleading, its a legit score as its a extremely good sports anime. you just happen to not have a taste for sports anime. |
