Just rewatched, this likely won't be seen since reply #962. I couldn't even see if I made my own reply (likely didn't).

Lives rent-free in my head for 8 years now. What an amazing masterpiece of an anime that I can't bring myself to rate 10/10
So glad she's dead and the girls/kids can live normal lives now.

Still as good as the first time - the ridiculous hot-blooded action and that stupid plot still holds up by sheer rule of cool.

So in general I've come to like the anime. In the beginning I've felt bored often but after some more episodes, it has gotten more and more interesting!

Finally it's over, I was very hyped in the first couple of episodes, then I started losing my hype slowly and started getting really bored in the 2nd half, everything here got shitty the moment Nui got introduced, the story and the direction went to shit, and Nui is also a shit character, I never liked her and never will, she's cheesy as fuck in a bad way, and she has the dumbest generic design ever, she looks like shit, and her stupid as fuck cutesy personality with her shitty design was rubbing me the wrong way so fuck that character. I was also really annoyed with the dumbass teacher that got naked, I don't want to see naked guys in anime, period, I'm not gay so fuck that son of a bitch, he was really annoying and rubbed me the wrong way too. This nudist beach bullshitery was garbage, period.

The comedy is a hit or miss here, plenty of the comedy missed and I was cringing hard, but some comedy did hit the mark and I was enjoying it, and the best comedy so far is that meme going on with Mako, while that character was annoying, I did enjoy her meme with the "Hallelujah" thingie followed by that silly music and having Mako giving her silly explanation, I didn't like that meme at first, it took me a while to get used to it, but once I got used to it I started loving it, so in the 2nd half, while I was bored as fuck watching this, I at least was chuckling and laughing every time Mako's meme happened, it's so silly that it's actually funny, it's cheesy in a good way.

The other thing I enjoyed about this anime was those superb ass shots from the girls. While I didn't enjoy this anime since I was bored as fuck in the 2nd half, I did enjoy Mako's meme and the girls ass shots at least. I would have given this anime a 5 out of 10, but since I enjoyed the memes and the superb ass shots I will end my rant with a rating of:

It starts strong, very strong. But then it starts to lose steam very, very quickly. And by the last episode you just want it to end asap.

It has one of the most unlikeable, annoying, sh!tiest anime characters ever, that b!tchy Nui b!tch. God every time she showed her face I wanted so much to b!tch-slap her!

Also anime logic at it's best, naked chick falls from space, crash lands and survives to see another day lolz.

I gave it an 8/10 mainly because of the first episodes the support characters, like Mako and her fam are something else. Her little bro should have had more air time. And the Elite four.

The final episode where too many things happened. Isn't a direct battle and no matter how many times Ragyou is defeated she always has a new trick.

Final battle in space with the force of everyone, reminds me to Dragon Ball hahaha and the world is saved even after Ragyou accomplished her mission.

As I expected there were some deaths or well only one, Senketsu's, also Ragyou but I don't count it because it was expected, she also killed herself, Ryuko didn't finish her which was disappointing. I find a nonsense that Ryuko didn't die too, Senketsu and the other clothes died because they were life fiber, so every life fiber should have died, including Ryuko, it would be a more satisfactory ending if she died too because at the end of the day she is part of the problem she is fighting against but the motivation of the date was strong enough to keep her alive I guess.

Too many great scenes and moments in this episode but I wanted to see Nui getting killed, it was a good episode but was disappointing as a final one, many things felt rushed.

Now with a small review of this series: I watched the first half mamy years ago and dropped it for reasons I don't remember. I didn't want to watch it at first because I thought it was porn but ended being something good. I got too many surprises with this show starting with the plot which it wasn't Ryuko vs fascism as I thought but Ryuko vs aliens? Too many very unexpected plotwist that ended being a crazier thing that I thought and I like it.

I give it a 9/10 because I had a good time watching it and I haven't getting surprised by a show this much in a long time, is still a nine despite being disappointed by many things in the end.

The bullet from that episode wasn't mentioned ever again, wasn't even used, it wasn't the powerful thing I thought it was.
