It is really hard to stand out in the romantic comedy and drama genres but with the mix of memorable characters and spot on comedy Toradora! manages to do just that. The romantic (mis)adventures of Ryūji Takasu and his schoolmates have captured the fans’ hearts and have never let go. The series has ran between March 10, 2006 and March 10, 2009 and spawned a couple of spin offs and an anime series. The cast of Toradora got some amazing figures and we are here to show you some that may be of interest to you.
5. Toradora! Wave Ami Kawashima Beach Queens Figure
We are opening our list with the figure of Toradora’s Ami Kawashima wearing a seductive swimsuit. This figure was manufactured by Wave and it is a part of their Beach Queens line. 4. Toradora! Kotobukiya Taiga Aisaka the Last Episode 1/6 Figure
The Palmtop Tiger leaps onto our second spot with this adorable figure from Kotobukiya. This figure of shy Aisaka was released in October 2010. The Aisaka figure is a 1/6 scale 25 cm (9.75 inches) tall completely pre-painted PVC figure. With this figure Aisaka is shown wearing the school uniform from the series last episode. She looks timid while her skirt is slightly fluttering on the breeze. This figure was sculpted by Asakura. This figure can be a part of your collection for only about 17,330 yen (~171 US dollars).
3. Toradora ! quesQ Wonder Festival Winter Taiga Aisaka Bunny Girl ver. Figure
On our third spot we have a special Wonder Winter Festival 2013 figure of Taiga Aisaka released by quesQ. This figure is a special recolor of the regular Bunny Ver. figure made especially for the Wonder Winter Festival. The figure was released in February 2013. This is a completely pre-painted 1/8 scale PVC figure that is 12 cm (4.68 inches) tall. Aisaka is shown wearing a recognizable bunny suit which is black in this version. She also comes with two different face parts, one smiling and one shy. This figure was sculpted by Abira. 2. Toradora ! Wave Dangeki 20th Anniversary Taiga Aisaka China Dress ver. Figure
The next figure on our list is once again a figure of Taiga Aisaka. This figure comes from the publisher Wave and this time it is a figure that was made especially for Dangeki’s 20th anniversary. It was released in November 2012. This Aisaka figure is a completely pre-painted 1/8 scale PVC figure that is 19 cm (7.41 inches) tall. This figure shows Aisaka in a lovely black china dress sitting on a high chair. Her hair is fashioned into Chinese buns, which fits the whole Chinese theme. 1. Toradora! Wave Aisaka Taiga Treasure Figure Collection Figure
We finally come to our final figure. The top belongs, unsurprisingly, to Taiga Aisaka. The number one figure on our list is the figure based on the illustration that graced the first volume of the series. She is shown holding a small tiger and she also gets accessories that allow you to dress her with tiger ears and a tiger tail. Also she comes with an alternate smiling expression. She was manufactured by Wave and sculpted by Heel Saito. The figure is a part of the Treasure Figure Collection line. The figure is 1/10 scale and she is a PVC pre-painted figure that is 9 cm (3.51 inches) tall. This Aisaka figure was released in December 2007.
