So i watched this as i had heard of the eroge game, the allegedly ecchi conten and after following where the game had led, i expected it to be some sad pathetic peter grill style anime, where the MC screws all.
Sadly what i got was an anime which didn't seem to know what it wanted to appeal too. There was no real romance, no ecchi driven eroticism or hints of, and no explanation why cats are living with humans this way, or why there is no male cats as if to please thw nekp-fetishists.
The girls seem closer to working in their pairs, and more likely to havea lesbian relationship it seems at stages so shigure has more chance and seems interested with her cat photography fetish.
The male character is of course pretty much ignored,.even though is the star of the game.
The anime just seems to have struggled with what it wants to be, whether ecchi, slice of life etc, So although tries to follow some sort of pattern, is mixed up with incredibly smart cats who can learn japanese, but can't find way home, and of course all work in the service industry. A capitalists dream of cheap labour, as they don't get paid it seems, like when a guitar is wanted. They just pay for what the cat needs.
So as a show for me, between boring lines like cinnamons getting wet, no real character development, relationships outside a family type environment and a few underwear, bikini shots when and the poor idea of cats earning bells or will be taken away(but cacao wasn't no matter if they walk the streets), it just proved poorly thought out at best.
