Two BL games that have been adapted to TV with the BL entirely omitted. Both have poor animation, poor production, and are an overall boring experience! Play the games! They are 10x better!

Excentric psycho puts people in his violnent game. People are dying all the time and blood constantly splatters. Both anime are very violent. Protagonists are part of the game but they do not like fighting. Even openings are somehow similar. The biggest difference (hopefully) is that Togainu no Chi failed as an animation, Deadman Wonderland on the other hand has amazing and well-done animation.

Blood, violence, action and a main protagonist who is serious and has a cold attitude.

Both are action packed violent series with lot of chaotic shit happening alot of the times.

Both are bloody and gory anime created from shounen-ai/yaoi sources. TNC is a full-length series, though, while Vassalord is just an OVA.

LETS BE AS BLOODY AND GRUESOME AS WE CAN BE! These anime, how some of the most sickest and most gruesome scenes that I have ever seen in an anime. The characters are suppose to defeat and slaughter their enemies with the upmost success, but feel nothing from the destruction and violence. The plot is scattered, with rather irrelevant twists. They literally bring up a twist that they never gave a hint at all. They both involve a character trapped in a fake world, and struggling to escape the destruction with allies on the way, and tragedies in love and the such. The main characters  read more

Although TNC was a disappointment to many, if you liked the urban setting and theme of gang wars or street fights with a supernatural twist near the end, you may find an interest in Durarara!!, which contains many bishounen characters like Togainu no Chi, and some action with supernatural twist(especially near the endings).

Both anime have a guy who goes willingly into a world of fighting. In each there is a mysterious guy in a cape. Both are Shounen Ai. Togainu no Chi has a much darker atmosphere to it, though, and is better for people who can handle blood splatter.

Both are survival themed series based on video games as well as also lots of action happening too.

Both are a survival game. But there is more blood in Togainu no Chi and there's not romance in it. So, if you want to watch an anime with violence and blood. Togainu no Chi is a really good one. I hope this recommendation will help you !! :)

Similar survival game taken place in long abandoned and seemingly deserted citiy. You fight but not for money, honor or fame. The only drive to keep you from destroying yourself is the will to live for just one day more. Here, neither the strong nor wise survive; only the one who accept change and adapt to it will live for another day of unrest for hope and dreams of freedom have long been abandoned.

Akira and Shion are both accused of false crimes. They both get sent to a place that only the best can survive. These are both shounen ai animes. They both end up meeting their friends later on in the place. They are also both violent.

Both anime have a similar dark feeling to them throughout the series, and take place in futuristic worlds with a post-apocalyptic theme. Both series focus largely on a group of male characters, and also focus on the struggle for survival in a broken world.

If you watched Togainu, and felt that it was disappointing, and that it had potential to be a really great dark and moody series but dropped the ball...then take a look at Texhnolyze. Both are dark, moody, futuristic, taking place in a dog-eat-dog world, with silent "observer" characters, and people caught up in the games that the ones in power play. They are both rather mature, with violence and sexual exploitation. The big difference is that Texhnolyze is actually worth watching.
