Bomberman, if you liked the game then you will like the anime. You may think that it is a bit childish, that's what I thought as well until one of the main characters die. It is much darker than your normal kid animes. It is very touching about a Shirobon trying to grow up into a Bomberman.

Warning this may not suit those who like bishies in the anime and intricate drawing. It's just something you watch if you like cute little things throwing bombs around.

The animation is good quality, and the drawings are cute ^_^
I especially like the big heads and read more

This is one of the most Epic Video Game based animes I've ever seen, based on the popular japanes video game series from Hudson Soft,Bomberman Jetters is a 52 episode anime tv series

Unlike Most video game animes which adapt storylines directly from the games such as Sonic X,Kirby right back at ya! or Megaman NT Warrior, ect. Bomberman Jetters on the other hand featured a totally new original storyline not based on any Bomberman games where Shirobon is a member of a space police group called the Jetters and has an older brother named Mighty who disapeared on his last mission to fight the Hige Hige bandits.

I hate this series soo much. The story is one of my main gripes, mostly as its full of filler. Majority of the series(from the 30 episodes i have seen) is full of filler episodes that bog down the story and makes for a unenjoyable watch. For example the serch for the "special space coal" and the golden pickaxe (episode 5),and episode 9 plot to find the "unique sailor-suited fish head figurehead"etc. The story itself is very poor with now no plot at all. At the moment Bomberman has his revenge and found out abut his brother,so wht hasn't the story ended? There is nothing driving read more
