Interest StacksAs the title says, we have a long lost channel that aired some really great anime back in the early 2000's. For a lot of kids back in the day it was the first contact with this media. Back in the day some anime repeated in and endless incomplete loop because they haven't the whole seires, but still was worth watching. Shows that Masami Okui has sung in, has been credited in, or is plainfully obvious that it's her. (ex: Akazukin Chacha) Classic 20th-century series and films that most old-school otaku have heard of and many older fans will cite as the reason they became a life-long weeb in the first place. Some have gotten sequels or modern reboots, while others have been relegated to the past and stand alone as fondly-remembered products of their time. If you want to take a journey through anime history, these shows are the place to start! These travelers wander from place to place for various reasons. They may travel the land for their job, be on a journey due to a strong sense of wanderlust, or are adventurers on a quest of some sort. Others may be homeless, exiled, or on the run and have no place to put down roots. Basically, a list of non-isekai shows from various genres where the characters change location frequently. Many of these known by proxy or heard about, but not that commonly actually watched beyond a few exceptions. Anime from the past millenium hides many gems that are worth watching. Animes that had been aired on any Filipino major channel (ABS-CBN, GMA, TV5 etc.). Not included are the shows that only aired on Animax-Asia. In 2012, The Asahi Shimbun announced the 104 TV anime that they considered to be the most representative and memorable of all TV anime between 1963 and 2012. It's a good starting point for exploring general TV anime history, and the shows are all worth giving a shot. The list was not ranked, and ordered by release date. Slayers in the order it was originally released. Order is given according to the starting date, i.e. Slayers Return was released in August of 1996 while Slayers Special was released from July 1996 to May 1997 so Special is listed first because it began first. This stack excludes original anime as they have no demographic as well as anime where the female is just a Deuteragonist (Unless in instances where she has equal or even more importance than the male protagonist).
