Koori Zokusei Danshi to Cool na Douryou Joshi

Kind-hearted Himuro-kun is unfortunate: when in deep concentration, stressed, or flustered, he involuntarily creates blizzard conditions for himself and anyone in his vicinity. During one such incident on the first day of his new job, Himuro-kun encounters the beautiful Fuyutsuki-san, who helps him break out of his nerve-induced ice. As it turns out, Fuyutsuki-san is his new coworker.

At the office, the cool-headed Fuyutsuki-san offers simple and rational solutions to Himuro-kun's icy dilemmas—everything from helping him garden without freezing his plants to ensuring he does not melt during their tropical work retreat. Every time Fuyutsuki-san does something kind for him, the tempest of emotions he experiences inside embarrassingly manifests on the outside.

As a result of the frequent snowstorms, Himuro-kun's feelings for Fuyutsuki-san are impossible to hide. Even though Fuyutsuki-san is unfamiliar with love, Himuro-kun remains determined to repay her kindness and warm her heart in any way he can.

This anime is really good. After watching this, I plan to read the manga as it was really good and I got curious about what will happen. The anime keeps you hooked from start to end. There is no thrilling plot. It is a very relaxing, easy-going, quite slow paced anime. The characters are all mature as they are adults so, there is no unnecessary drama. The main characters are level headed and have fantastic personalities. So it it very hard to not support their romance and their relationship. The side characters are all very engaging and have quite quirky personalities too so it is ... really nice to see them interacting with one another. The romance between all the characters, especially the main leads, are a bit of a slow burn, but they are fulfilling and worthwhile. The characters have a lot of growth in them and you can slowly see them change and become a better version of their selves over time. I really enjoyed this anime a lot. If you want to feel relaxed, see characters have growth, and see a cute and fulfilling romance than this anime is worth it.

Mixed Feelings

A workplace romance with little new to offer despite the premise.

Good to see an adult cast romance, however the characters act pretty much like high schoolers. We learn very little about any characters despite some very pointed expositionary dialogue at times, which is even remarked on in the show.

Yokai elements aren't over explained, but are also a bit too undefined and repetitive, making them just seem like a gimmick.

The secondary characters provide much needed balance to the icy main pair, but are pretty trope-y with basic personalities.

Romantic progression isn't too rushed, but is also a bit too slow that borders on boring.

A rough ... final episode in multiple ways, the final scene itself seems to emphasise how little has progressed since episode 1.

There's a weird eye fidgeting animation throughout the show that became distracting almost right away.

Despite the premise and world building, a bog standard romance with little progression, shallow characters and relying on the most trope-y of tropes of the genre.

Honestly was bored watching this series. I kept waiting for something to happen between the two leads, but the characters kept getting more and more ridiculous. The supporting characters did nothing to really make the plot more interesting or FOIL the mail characters. I thought the character development among all characters could have been deeper and more creative. I understand why people would find this anime cute, but since the plot and characters are not particularly interesting, it's really just cute as a concept. I've watched a lot of anime in this genre, and this was a disappointment. Nothing seriously questionable and not terrible, just ... not good.
