Shin Shinka no Mi: Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei

One of the worst anime of 2021 gets a sequel. What the hell, SERIOUSLY, WHAT. THE. HELL.

Novelist Miku's Shinka no Mi has dived deep into the rabbit's hole for one reason and one reason only: it knows NOT the meaning of "bottom of the barrel", SO HARD that this season, the sequel goes into overdrive of what made Season 1 "so bad it's good". Thinking about Season 1 now, I'd feel that it was a masterpiece when compared to this accursed season being given "The Promised Neverland" treatment, which I'm more than happy that this is the case for the sequel: to crush its potential ... to pieces.

I typically do elaborate insightful reviews to give you a reason why you should watch shows or not, but this show...sullies my credibility too much to the point that there is no point making one like how I do usually give shows that deserve a second chance. This show, NEEDS NO second chance, it just squandered it to high hell and back, it even can make Medusa turn people into stone or Hydra spew heaps of fire, faster than this dumpster fire that the "NOT Recommended" label is an understatement.

The only positive I can give to the sequel is that the newbie studio Hotline has slightly better production values than Season 1, looks like they really took their time to refurbish the animation and not make it look like absolute garbage by the sequel not being a tri-studio collab like the prequel (which there still are traces in it). The negatives, however, outweigh the positives 1000:1, from the typical Isekai magic fantasy academy shtick, to Seiichi and Co. being more idiotic and stupid than the prequel, and then facing the strong enemy that is the Great Devil Order. Not even the OST is good, mind you, Season 1's better by a long shot, and I mean, a LONGGGG shot.

You know what's tbe best thing? If next season's Isekai de Cheat Skill wo Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai wo mo Musou Suru: Level Up wa Jinsei wo Kaeta a.k.a I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World Too, written by the same author, comes out and is just as equally bad as this show, you'll know why. Because birds of a feather flock together, and honestly, I can see bad vibes coming.

Stay the fuck away from this show, both the sequel and its Fall 2021 prequel (though it's actually not too bad, that I originally gave it a harsh credit for). But if you must, Season 1's the way to go, and be mindful to pretend that Season 2 NEVER existed in the first place (which it did). Clearly a waste of time that even if you are brain-dead, you'd be wise to never touch this show, EVER AGAIN.

Now I usually don't mind trashy Isekai but holy shit this was on another level, this had me questioning my own sanity. The overwhelming cringe had me actively looking away multiple times per episode. The pacing was waaaaayyyyy too slow and had me questioning what the actual fuck I just watched. Character development started well but somewhere in the middle it just stopped and became some god-awful singing bullshit. Please for the love of everything that is holy DO NOT WATCH this cringefest. By far the single worst piece of media I have ever consumed, finishing this anime has made me reevaluate my life and ... anime consumption as a whole. I highly recommend anyone who actively chooses to watch this go to therapy after.

Who directed this season there is a huge gap between s1 and s2 first of all they made the story go too fast and fully different from the manga like seriously its getting worse by each episode its like they want to end it as soon as possible

Oof man what can I say this anime really made me think about what the anime industry is going through these days,I didn't have high hopes for it but good lord is it just awful
I don't think a person made the jokes I the anime and thought"i think I have made the second coming of konosuba" the jokes are so bad that I don't even know what the story is anymore. I don't want to make it long but long story short I hate every fibre of this anime the first season was manageable but this this has crossed the line.

TL:DR; "This anime made me question my sanity and taste in anime. At points I thought I was hallucinating because the show had a Dora the Explorer vibe to it half-way though for some reason. Overall, I wish I could use the main bad guy's ability to erase this fever dream of a sequel from our world."

I hate this anime with a passion, which is a shame, because I somewhat enjoyed the first season. Shin Shinka no Mi: Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei is a nightmare of a sequel. It follows the same formula as the first season, with Seiichi Hiiragi and his harem of ... beast girls facing off against various threats in a fantasy world. The only difference? It does everything worse.

The animation quality is abysmal, with choppy movements and bland backgrounds. The characters are either one-dimensional or annoying, and the conflicts are resolved too easily or conveniently(final episode was the biggest slap to the face).

The anime tries to introduce some new elements, such as Seiichi’s students from Earth who are enrolled in a magic academy, and a cult that wants to resurrect the demon lord. But these elements are poorly executed in ways that completely disrupt the pacing of the entire anime. There was a point when I realized that you could remove them from the show and nothing would be lost, but if you did that the anime would be 3 or four episodes long. The anime does not have any originality or creativity, and it feels like the worst generic isekai harem anime that DOES stand out from the crowd in how terrible it is.

The only redeeming factor of this anime is the catchy opening and ending songs by nano and Erii Yamazaki respectively, but they are not enough to save this disaster. The anime does not have any memorable moments or scenes that make it worth watching. The anime is a waste of time and potential, and I do not recommend it to anyone.

The art and animation is better than the first season, albeit repetitive, but the plot is circling the toilet bowl. Which is depressing, as I actually somewhat enjoyed the first season.

I literally had to stop watching the latest Episode 7, as it is so incoherent and detached from everything up to this point, it was nothing but irritating to listen to, much less watch.

The dirty humor is done poorly and it seems to be the only thing the script writer has going for him. This is confounding, considering the series has a manga and web novel it ... could have followed, I hear.

It feels like this season was written with the intention of making me quit watching anime to manage my time better.

If that is what you are looking for, look no further.

How horrible, my 10 year old cousin can do a better script summarizing volumes 4, 5 and 6 of the light novel, the guys destroyed the whole sequence of events, destroyed any meaning by adding a bunch of nonsensical scenes referencing JoJo, a forced and irritating comedy, I who read the light novel feel sorry for the author, I hope they don't ruin the Isekai de Cheat Skill anime that premieres in a few days the same way they did with Shinka no Mi. Both works are by the same author. The characters had no construction, all their motivation was removed in exchange for comedy, ... they changed a key event in the story which was Seiichi's meeting with Kannazuki, they placed Seiichi as someone stupid and weightless, they didn't say anything about his past, the loss of his parents and obviously cutting any mention of him having his revenge against those who killed his parents, it's hard to like something like that even more knowing the light novel.

The first season of The Fruit of Evolution was actually a moderately fun watch. The second season... takes it too far.

This is one of those anime where you suspend disbelief, turn off your brain, and just go with it. You are supposed to laugh where it intends you to laugh and feel where it intends you to feel. For the first season, this worked. It took some effort but it worked. The Fruit of Evolution's use of anime tropes and especially "The power of love and friendship can conquer anything" are blatantly and egregiously in play. So much so that it is easy to believe ... that the entire anime is a parody of the isekai genre and anime in general and that they are poking fun at the blatant overuse of such concepts in most plot lines. But the second season Takes This Too Far.

In the first season we saw liberal use of the "Enemies to friends" trope and "Murderers wanting to be rehabilitated" but in those cases it actually made some semblance of sense. In the second season, the first episode opens with a tragedy, one that tugs at the heartstrings of the audience if they had grown to care about the characters at all. The entirety of the season the audience is led to hope that such a horrible outcome can be avoided and to wait in anticipation for how our heroes will be able to avoid or overcome the dark future that was foretold. However... no effort is made to prepare or avoid or even share this dark prophecy. The secret future hardship is left between the audience and the oblivious protagonist. The final episode is a culmination of all of these fears and pent up anxiety, and viewers of the first episode will feel noticeable deja vu upon watching the final.

Sad to say, the final episode is handled poorly. Plot lines resolve themselves in a very unsatisfying and perhaps even anger educing way that leaves quite a bad taste in the mouth for the series.

Be a silly parody anime, or be a serious anime that makes the audience feel. Don't make the audience feel and then try to resolve their emotions with over the top comedic stupidity that magics away the problem.

It was okay in season 1 and even gave a few chuckles out of me but after season 2 somewhere around when saria started talking in the third person which was really annoying and was explaining stuff in the episode we saw literally 2 seconds prior to the events happening in the episode is whenever this show fell off and hard, it became almost unwatchable after that episode, everything is out of place the plot is really not their and doesn't exist, its slow and painful to watch the second season, its like they're just using an AI generator to write the scripts for the ... second season its really not good, season 1 was bad but it was watchable and enjoyable for a season 1 anime, but season 2 is just god awful, please don't waste your time with season 2. I'm sure the manga is probably better but whatever they're doing with season 2 is definitely not working for me.

---- OK, so this was definitely an anime! I can say that much. Now here's the kicker, it may be bad, but it's "somewhat good bad".

Art/Animation:
---- OK, so we got some average-looking animation on an average-looking anime, BUT, some of the girls are QUITE kawaii; although it does include a rather large amount of gorilla boobies.

---- The guy is a guy who is always kind, and the girls love him because they do. There really isn't that much of a story, it just all kind of 'happens'. But pretty much if I had to summarize, MC goes to magic school, and funny antics ensue including ... sheer terror.

---- The man who would fuck a gorilla. The man who has such bad body odor said gorilla confused it for pheromones upon their original meeting. The man who named a small child his younger sister, a donkey his servant, a calamity his girlfriend, and a gorilla his wife. This man goes by many names, but the one he does go by is Seichi. Seichi is a chad, he'd fuck that gorilla. He ALONE, pays reparations for the tragic events that occurred on May 28, 2016.

---- Ok, so you got a pretty ok to mediocre anime here. Well deserving of a 5. BUT, I say with utmost certainty not to overwrite this anime, FOR, HIDDEN AMONG THE MUCK, IS A GEM, a gem so beaautiful ANOS VOLDIGOLD dares not speak of it. A diamond in the rough. This anime sucks,but it's the good kind of suck. It's the kind of suck that includes god-awful amounts of references to Jojo, and even pays homage to the great and glorious Neon Genesis Evangelion. It sucks, and it sucks, but it suck so bad, it's actually kind of good.

I'll keep it simple. Although I'd say the story is visually an overall improvement compared to the first season. The jokes are EXTREMELY repetitive to the point it's downright obnoxious and nauseating. They keep repeating the same visual jokes over and over and over and over episode after episode after episode after episode that it disengages you from the story, it's downright jarring. It's like they only had two gags they could come up with, so they decided to go all in with it.

The story will get lost in the redundant jokes that they keep repeating. So it's going to completely ruin it for most ... people. So I would high reccomend avoiding the second season, or just stick to the manga.

I only watched it so you wouldn't have to. A great second season. Strong 2/10. Absolutely everything lies and squeaks here: animation, line, phasing, dialogues, romance, humor, gags, adventures, music, protagonist, antagonist ... everything. There's nothing good to see here. The humor here looks as if some sloppy old man made up jokes on his knee pretending that he knows what young people are playing nowadays. It's so embarrassing that it stings your eyes and ears. No one will give me back this lost time. It's hard. The only thing that impresses me is the fact that in order to create such a powerful piece ... of crap, you just have to try hard. You have to keep striving and motivating the team to try to create the worst shit of the last few months. I would very much like to forget about it as soon as possible...

While I did enjoy the first season reasonably well. The initial premise was interesting enough to keep me interested throughout the first season. I can't really say the same for this season as much as I would like to. I couldn't finish watching episode 7. I've reached my limit for how much I can handle of this show. It's simply put a joke trying to take itself seriously. If it treated itself like the joke I feel like it is, perhaps it would be marginally more enjoyable of a watch.

The attempted comedy this season has made me chuckle a grand total of once.

It takes ... a lot for me drop a show/season, especially one as short as this, but this has me thoroughly defeated.

A huge disappointment the first season was somehow bearable but this season is absolute thrash. Not only are the jokes not funny and overused, but you will also even lose track of what is happening. The show has a very poor story, with many unlogical things.
Dont watch this show, here are the reasons:
The animation quality is subpar, with lazy character designs and generic backgrounds.
The pacing is all over the place, with important plot points being rushed while filler scenes drag on for way too long.
The characters are one-dimensional and lack any real depth or development.
The worldbuilding is practically non-existent, leaving the viewer with no real ... sense of the setting or its inhabitants.
The show relies heavily on tired isekai tropes, such as overpowered protagonists and harems of female characters fawning over them.
Even fans of the isekai genre will find little to enjoy in this mess of a show.

Save yourself time and skip this one altogether. There are plenty of other better isekai shows out there to choose from.

Who should watch this? No one, but if you like very very very thrash isekai, then this is for you I would say it's like S+ thrash isekai, never seen any this bad. If you saw the first season, then skip this one, and pretend it does not exist, just take the show as it didn't get any season.

I would say this anime falls on my worst watchlist & among the top five.
My request to the production team, please watch other animes with a good level of rating before diving into production, for example, take Re-zero, Tokyo Revengers, Benriya, and more, I could list a thousand.

You people worked hard for this, I really appreciate it, but it should not go to waste.
So, please concentrate more and research before beginning the process.

I really like transferred to other world etc and this actually showed promise of being good but after watching season one and the stupid guild members with there antics and costumes I thought yeah that was a real downer. (They reminded me so much like watching the stupidest episodes of South Park years ago that made your stomach turn) So season 2 comes out and it dragged along and no guild members yet so it was watchable, but then one appeared and yeah dropped the show them, no more interest in that one for me, it's dead. Only joined up so ... I could mention my disgust at the show, but others might actually like those guild members, good luck to those people having a normal life.

This anime shouldn’t have existed, ever. I don’t mind isekais, but this one is not one of them. I feel sorry for the Animators, English and Japanese VAs and the music artists for pouring their heart and soul into Season 1 and 2 of this anime. The main character conveniently finds ten fruits of evolution within a dangerous as f$ck forest to make him the ideal version of himself instead of having to run his ass off and use his surroundings to better learn to survive dangerous areas and put in effort to change and be better than who he was before.

I know he’s had ... it rough, but super fruit is too much of a short cut to what and who he is now. The animal girls he encounters in the other world aren’t very interesting and very forgetful to me, enough that I don’t really care for them. I believe he had some, about two, girls he knew in the previous life, who like him and are in the same other world as him, and he didn’t think to try and work his body to be better for them? Working to level up and get strong and change yourself are isekai protags I like. Those who are fortunate to find rare items or have a simple but useful skill to survive in the other world, I can tolerate, but this anime’s protagonist, I cannot, especially when the items are ten super fruits that are again conveniently within the forest he found himself in upon arrival. They couldn’t put these super fruits in different areas of this other world like Toriko and make them a plot where everyone is looking to consume them? Then again that would be ripping off One Piece.

Guy should have died upon arriving to the other world. I can’t imagine a dangerous beast dying from his stench. His flippin stench! If it was any different, they’d have just killed him for sport or something, or drown his ass in a river hoping to wash off the stench. Or better yet he could be like a sort of meat durian to them, he smells bad but could taste good to the dangerous creatures there.

I feel nothing as I see him fighting or helping others to be better than they were before. I can’t see him as a teacher. I know a few teachers from growing up that could do his job better. Two of my four brothers could be better protagonists than him.

When "god" saw that he was abandoned, it gave him "a blessing" called "Complete Disassembly." While other people get maybe 1 or 2 drops from killing a monster, this person gets everything that monster could possibly drop upon its death, including inherent skills and abilities, and a book describing its life and memories. When does a god or God pick and choose favorites, especially when they isekai’d a classroom of students into another world?

I’d like it if the main character was Prompto from Final Fantasy XV. That guy had one OVA dedicated to him wanting to be Noctis’ friend but wanting to be better so to walk side by side with him. He worked to get that body, Fruit of Evolution’s protagonist didn’t, just ate super fruit. I don’t bother using the protagonist’s name because I don’t really care for it. I know the classmates who treated him wrong are the worst, but an anime where classmates are assholes to each other while being in another world would be far more entertaining than this waste of character, especially if the plot involves douchebag isekai heroes dying one by one failing to save that world were a thing, and the residents there were like, “Oh sh$t, we’re dead” and the world dies. That sounds like a better story why hasn’t anyone written a story where heroes die one by one and fail to save that world? I probably haven’t looked far enough into the many isekais that are out.

Overall, this is an anime you’d rather not waste 30 min on. I have no problem with the art, the music, or the VAs, just the story and its characters. Good on the creator for making something that people like that helps support him, but this is equally as worse as School Days the Animation. If I could, I’d get all copies of this anime and bury them in a ditch somewhere like they buried the Atari game ET. For a score, I would rather give it a zero, a 1 out of 10 is too generous for this. I’d even settle for it to be N/A.

I watched season 1 some days ago so I remember what happened. Season 1 was good and I would give a 7 for this one, but this one... It's strange. From what I understood they don't respect manga storyline... For that, why not even if it's a bit a shame, but this mix of serious and parody is a bit strange to be honest while it's really something I'm supposed to like. I'm not objective since I like the parody genre, but giving a 5 to a genre I really like show it's not well managed. The story was hard to follow most of the ... time and some characters have been made totally useless. Compared to season 1 I'm. Bit disappointed but I wouldn't say it's bad because some parts are good. Without spoiling, the beginning of this season is better than the end, we can clearly feel they couldn't care less near the end of the series.

A lot of people tend to see isekai and write them off. The sheer volume of shows and manga being released in the genre definitely makes it seem like it's all quantity of quality. This show is a perfect example of how true that theory really is.

The first season, albeit not great, was tolerable in places. The animation was subpar, the characters were one dimensional and the plot was unoriginal, but it was cute and harmless for the most part. The second season is an absolute abomination compared to what came before it. While the quality of the art may have improved in some ways, ... the characters, plot, pacing and comedy is all horrendous.

The show manages to somehow be too fast and too slow. They speed passed the important things like character growth and plot and drag on the incredibly self-explanatory boring bits. The episodes are also truncated now. There's usually a recap of some sort in the beginning and then an overly extended ending that's somewhat what's to come and also just telling you what's going on. It's mind boggling that this decision came to be.

Probably the worst part of everything is the humor. The show has absolutely no idea what it wants to be and combines a multitude of different comedy styles and gags that don't work by themselves and they don't play off each other either. The jokes are often cringey, lazy, overplayed, immature or halfbaked.

You could even describe the show as such. It's wildly aimless in what it wants to be and it's painful trying to watch it figure itself out.

I would not recommend this to anyone and all this show does is exist to further ruin the isekai genre.

Still, the worst Isekai Anime ever written. Completely awful, way tooooo much comedy, terrible characters development, terrible and cheap looking art styles. Everything about his Anime is extremely annoying. And here I thought the first season was bad enough... Then there's season 2 which is even worse... I mean who wrote this??? whether it's Seiichi having a diarrhea in the toilet while everyone else was fighting an "intense" battle (lol) or, getting blasted in the back by a urine colored laser and died when he literally defeated a "Black Dragon GOOODDD" in the first season.

I don't know what other people thought of this but to ... me, there's no Anime ever in this world that are as dreadful as this.
After 2 seasons and 7 episodes in. I finally realized that I'm wasting my time watching this show when I should've dropped it back when he seduced a pink female gorilla with his stinky armpit.
