Quality fantasy shows that aren't isekai.

Who doesn't want a strong lead, and a female one at that? I mean, people stereotype A LOT in this day and age, so who doesn't want this type of unique character once in a while? Note: I tried to avoid shoujo romances as they are seen as common tropes, although there are some that I thought were personally good on the list.

Best Animes To start with to get into anime - there will be reasons to why you should watch these shows and who should watch them, Anime will be separated into groups, the anime in these groups will share something in common such as lenght or genre.

Anime is a visual medium and these are the series and movies that knock it out of the park in terms of being a treat for the eyes.

A big part of what makes anime so interesting is the fact that it’s all animated. So you get to see color palettes and sceneries that you would never see in real life.

And there’s definitely a few anime that are just more visually pleasing than others.

So to celebrate this beautiful art, I'm going to list down some of the most aesthetically pleasing anime ever made. If you’re big into anime you’ll probably like a lot on this list, and even more so if you’re into art too.

If your group of friends is like most, its members have a wide variety of interests and priorities. That's why anime recommendations for friends aren't a one-size-fits-all type of deal. Sure, you can recommend your personal favorites regardless of your friend's preferences, but you should also keep what they like in mind when giving anime advice. You don't want to recommend Naruto or Dragon Ball Z to a seasoned anime fan unless you know for a fact that they haven't seen it. Likewise, you don't want to suggest Monster Musume to someone who recoils at fan service, or Black Lagoon to someone who hates brutal scenes.

This guide will give you tips to help you tailor your anime suggestions toward your friends' interests. The more spot-on the choice, the more likely it is you'll convert a reluctant viewer into a lifelong anime fan.

My suggestions to anyone new to anime. You can choose any one of them to watch.

Anime with it located in the central city of hustle and bustle in Japan, Tokyo, or strongly reminiscent of this city.

Current and upcoming anime adaptations of the battle shonen manga. Includes both Shonen Jump's major hits (Boku no Hero Academia) or reboot of cult works (Shaman King, Bastard) as well as upcoming adaptations of of relatively new works.

Anime with characters god bless them but they are dumb as fuck. Having a character in anime who is a little bit stupid is consoling. They might be the series' charming and stupid hero, or they might be the idiotic but frequently loyal best friend. You can just enjoy the most obvious course of their character development because of their ineptitude.

I find that a lot of anime can be a little jarring because of how different in style it is to western television, so here’s some anime that I find to be good transitions into anime without TOO much craziness, at least in my opinion.
