It’s disappointing how most mainstream anime have cliche plots and questionable scenes, and somehow catch the eye of millions. Many series that are actually thought-out and well-crafted are left behind in the dust to be forgotten. We made this interest stack out of hope in sharing these complex and deep stories for you to witness.

These are good recommendation for those looking for something to add on their anime list.

A well-placed one-liner always makes people laugh, and we could all use a little humor when things are tough. Watch these hilarious comedic animes. Their funny stories will make you feel better, make you happier, and make you laugh in no time.

Do you create art, literature, music, food, or physical goods? You will probably relate to the people in these shows!

Everything in this stack has a plot or themes about creators and their relationships to the things they create. The creators don't always have to be the main character, but in most cases, they will be.

Not all entries from each franchise will be included, to give me more space to add different shows. The theme doesn't necessarily need to be about art, but that was where this interest stack was originally meant to go. (Some of these shows will be "sports" anime with the sports in question being particularly artsy.)

All these anime's include very shippable characters who mostly have no other person in the anime you could possibly ship them with. This is a marketing ploy because this makes anime/ships very popular as well as being apart of the lgbtqia+ community is not openly embraced by any Asian media. A lot of these anime's has novels, manga chps, side manga, official art, and drama cds that are very suggestive or downright very gay. They have all have very suggestive scenes in the animes as well including op, ed, end credits that are very fruity.

Anime that centers around a character's job.

Anime that focus on bizarre jobs(e.g. Ishuzoku Reviewers) or anime that aren't focused primarily on a character's job and relations with co-workers(e.g. Hataraku Maou-Sama!) are excluded.

This makes it easier to just throw a link at people and let them pick what they want from a list opposed to cultivating one every time someone asks me for a recc. Tried to have a bit of everything in here.

Some lesser known anime that I really like and think more people should watch! Includes both shows and movies.

"Lesser known" to me is going to be defined as any show with under 400,000 viewers listed on MAL from now on, to prevent me from filling this list with just shows that I like but aren't really "lesser known".

There are some anime that are so bad that they’re “good”. This stack, however, provides the opposite: anime that are so well-made and enjoyable that they can actually have some sort of side-effect. These anime are so good, that they will hook you, and take over your life in the process.

As said in the title Comedy is subjective, therefore, it's always difficult to recommend a comedy to a large group of people because everyone has different tastes.

As such, in this list, I tried to include a large variety of different types of comedies so that at least some would fit your interests. I'll add what kind of comedy the show focuses on most so you can have an idea of what to expect.

All these shows were really fun to watch and got me laughing during the course of the show. At the very least, they were entertaining to watch in between more darker/serious shows.
