A stack of shows that constantly kept me laughing and giggling.
These shows primarily focus on creating comedic situations in nearly all scenes and the character personalities and relationships are designed to support the comedic atmosphere.

Only shows I watched myself. Second seasons not included, but always recommended.

The shows below have in common that they feature characters that struggle with themselves, struggle with being human. Some of these shows are more light-hearted than others but the relatability is on point if you find yourself in a position of social awkwardness, anxiety and in dark places sometimes.

But as we all know, anime show us not to give up and sometimes having a show relate to your problems helps you to validate yourself and be like hey, these characters also act weird but that‘s okay.

For wholesomeness I recommend: Super Cub, Cool Doji Danshi and Komi-san.

For pain within the relatability I recommend: Bocchi the Rock, Uramichi Oniisan, Mob Psycho and Koe no Katachi.

For a good laugh I recommend: Kaguya-sama and Saiki K.

This stack is dedicated to anime that portray show business and entertainment media in a realistic, often quite dark and serious light. It's still not necessarily show without fancervice, but you won't see pure waifu or hasubendo bait here.

This stack is for shoujo, josei or any other female-targeted show with a male protagonist. In case this stack is of interest to any of the guys, I tried to select shows with a non-objectified image of the guys first. But anyway, this stack is meant for any audience, so I didn't rule out fanservice shows or BL. Also, some shows, especially idols, usually have a formal female protagonist, but since most of the focus is on the male characters anyway, I took the liberty of listing some of them too.
