SimilarVulgar and crazy humor Similar themes with characters Similar way the story grabs you if Gintama condescended Mendoksai main character who will then run off and try to carry everything on his shoulders alone Similar quality I cannot stress this recommendation enough This comparison and recommendation were first made by Gigguk on trash taste.

Both involve characters who spend their time fighting bad guys by using blade-like weapons. Both also include very absurd and raunchy humor, and really fun and great animation.

The main characters Seven and Saitama are very similar they're generally laid back and stupid but serious when they need to be. Both series have the same odd sense of humor. The worlds both involve super powers, advanced technology and fighting villains to make money.

Both absurdist comedies and both Chinese anime. Similar senses of humour with To Be Hero being on the more vulgar side. Both series have lots of charm and great characters.

The opening sequence of Odd Taxi and the ending sequence of Scissor Seven have similar pastel-like art styles and hand-written fonts. As well, the songs in the sequences both feature guitar. Aside from these though, the two shows are quite different in plot and purpose.

Similarities - Both MCs are talented assassins - Both MCs have a female companion - Both MCs hide their trade using a proxy business (perfume/hair salon) - Both worlds have forms of magic techniques (mana/cultivation) Differences - Scissor Seven MC tries to carry his job out but it always fails successfully (weird endings) - Scissor Seven MC doesn't have a harem but his female companion is a tsundere/yandere - Scissor Seven MC doesn't reincarnate but loses his memories so he starts fresh in the beginning - Finest Assassin has vast worldbuilding involving kingdoms VS Scissor Seven worldbuilding is enclosed on an island with the habitants being clients and targets and occasionally in the technologically  read more

These Chinese anime's are hidden gems that both have unique animation styles and are not as time consuming as most shows, one being 3 episodes long and the other having very short 13 minute episodes, so they are worth a shot.

Though MFKZ and Cike Wu Liuqi share little in common in the way of story and characters, they have similar vibes and senses of humour. In my opinion they also feel like pieces of media that have the potential to appeal to people who aren't fans of anime/donghua, partially due to their humour and artstyle causing them to feel like outliers in their respective mediums from my personal experience with both, feeling almost more reminiscent of action-oriented Newgrounds animations, just with a higher budget and longer runtime. Fans of one aren't guaranteed to like the other, but there's still a decent chance they'll get some  read more

Very similar style of both animation and humour.

Both have the same level of fun chaos. Random scenarios and unique animation make these a match as well as Rock genre inspiration. Killer seven is Flcl meets Scott Pilgrim.

The stories and styles are very different, but both are comedy anime that have short seasons and 15-ish minute episodes, which make them good for light entertainment AND for binge-ing. They're also both Netflix Originals, at least in the US (not sure about other areas).

Both are absurd comedies featuring asshole protagonists and a colorful supporting cast. Both mix drama and comedy effectively with brilliant, outlandish animation. Osomatsu and Seven both heavily rely on visual gags, and while Osomatsu has Seven beat in terms of pure absurdity, Seven's fight scenes are utterly gorgeous and really make the most of its 14 minute run. Great shows that get you invested in the cast despite their weirdness!
