Both absurdist comedies and both Chinese anime. Similar senses of humour with To Be Hero being on the more vulgar side. Both series have lots of charm and great characters.

Both are great quality short anime (that happen to be Chineses) in which we follow a rather uncommon hero who faces new challenges always accompanied with great action animation scenes and lots of great comedy. They also have a more serious story line which slowly comes to light and attains its summit during an epic final fight that reveals the past of the protagonist.
