Anime's that match the tranquil but exciting and yet sometimes very intense experience of taking a good shit.

One or more of the main characters in this anime were not born in Japan (implying that Japan even exists in the universe the anime is set in), but were born in Earth (sorry, aliens, not gonna include you here).

Coming of age is loosely defined as a story of teenagers/ children/ youths growing up and discovering what it means to be an adult/ the effects of change. It could also deal with themes of character maturity and are often heavily character driven.

Here are some shows that portray the best of characters learning what it means to grow up. (Does include films)

Animes that make you feel something. A feeling you may not be able to describe. Their stories make you feel connected to the character(s) and what they’re going through. There are situations throughout these series and movies that inspire deep thought and emotion. They have this vibe to them that is so real and profound. If you love pieces of work like this, these are for you!

anime which really meant something, with deep, important, and impactful themes. obviously everything here is based on my own opinion, but for the most part, i would call these shows life-changing, thought-provoking, inspiring, beautiful, etc.
