Chisato Mizusawa is a reserved but excellent and pretty assistant manager in her company. She has a secret that only her husband Sora knows, which is that she likes drinking alcohol, and she can become very cute when she is drunk! Even tonight, she gets relaxed (with the phrase "Shifuku~") and drunk with the cocktail Sora makes♥. It's a "Yoidere (Drunken Dere)" cocktail comedy of Japan's closest husband and wife.
i see all these Negative reviews.. Its still airing... only 4 episodes in.
This mob mentality community really takes away short fun animes that can really bring excitement to individuals. Its fun to watch! Lots of fun! DO NOT GO IN WITH EXPECTATIONS AND you will really enjoy it. and its extremely short so its like even more fun and back to work.
What makes a good short anime?
If a show can achieve what its striving for in a short period of time then it deserves appreciation.
4 episodes in and it has achieved what it was set out to do,
make you happy and smile. It has an adorable art style and just fun 3 mins per ep.
Admit it, one of the very few good things that ever happen to adulthood is alcohol. It's basically a legal drug that gives you the power of unconditional happiness and the ability to enjoy yourself and express yourself to the fullest.
That being said, drinking (in moderation of course) is nice, yeah. But you know what's better? Watching a reserved and serious office lady flip her moe-gap switch to the blushy-cuddly side as she got drunk, probably in the cutest way ever.
- Mrs. Mizusawa herself. What a lovable girl.
- And together with her husband, I think they're the cutest couple of this season.
- I'm sure
it wouldn't be hard for the ladies to fall for the diligent and caring husbando Sora.
- Some cocktail brewing tips at the end of every episode. Like, very simple ones. Nice extras, no?
If you seek interesting story or good comedy, i'm afraid you'll be dissapointed. It's pretty obvious since each episode is only 3 minutes long and doesn't have much to offer strict viewers. It's only a few minutes laid back before bed.
Personally i think with budget for a short animation, the creators've done a decent job. But harshly saying, story, artwork, animation and sound really does look mediocre.
Anyway, what should we say while enjoying this cute version of "Bartender"?
"What if the Tipsy Bartender was a romantic slice of life anime?"
I did not realize that this was a three minute episode type of show. That said, the drinks described don't sound bad at all, and I actually enjoy the romantic role reversal just being a thing in the show without anyone forcibly drawing attention to it. Just not enough to bother keeping up wit the show. That said, the alcoholic wife and her husband just caving to her childlike behavior is a big turn off as well, and with the setup that the show has, it's clear that there isn't going to be any
sort of character development unless the show changes format later.
Osake wa Fuufu ni Natte kara is one of those comedies that failed to achieve a simple goal "entertain."
Following an alcoholic assistant manager's hidden life was a promising plot, at least for an episode of 3 minutes length. We wanted to explore how this person would handle her work and her private life with her drinking desire. Sadly, if we focus on her personal life the only relation that she has with her husband is the same relation that Homer has with Moe. She demands some kind of drink and the bartender ... sorry husband will make it. She even gets drunk with no alcoholic
beverages. I don't know but that plot is just very average, and the only laugh that we get is from the lemon at the ending.
I don't consider 3 minutes a total waste for each episode but let me be honest, the characters are bad, the progression is bad. There are better comedies out there so do not hope for any miracle from this series.
