If you were expecting me to shit on this OVA, then haha! The joke’s on you, because I’m not gonna do that.. I quite enjoyed the OVA, and it was quite fascinating to see how Shindo behaves when he isn’t acting as a negotiator on behalf of an alien that’s billions of years old. This OVA started out pretty chill, like a normal slice of life type. You know, the normal, 'just going through life' feel. Even so, it was pretty interesting, and the characters are very likable. Things started to change towards the end of the OVA though... The animation changed to a 3D-esk animation, like you see in video games. It was such a subtle change, it through me for a loop - I had to do a double take and started questioning if the entire OVA had been like that, which no, it had not.
