3-gatsu no Lion 2nd Season

Anime collected in this stack have stories which focus on the struggles of maintaining, repairing, or building family bonds. These relationships should be between the main characters and must be non-romantic in nature.

Series which focus primarily on taking care of infants to pre-teen children will not be included in this stack; please use the Childcare theme to find these stories. However, if the childcare component is only one relationship of multiple in the family, then these anime will also be added here.

Critics & Connoisseurs was a club that was founded in 2008 and ended club activities on the 31st of 2022.

The goal of the club was to come up with a list of highly recommended quality shows that are exemplary either within its genre or universally. An anime needed a 70% approval rate in our voting to get on the relation list. The following anime are all part of said list.

Prime examples of what I mean when I say "Best battles + strategic fights + cool characters sorta animes" are 'World Trigger' and 'Kingdom'.
But some of the titles I've included are more prominent in one of these aspects, like 'March comes in like a lion' being more strategic heavy.
All the animes that are included are super interesting and worth the watch.

Animes whose main characters start out as loners.

There are many anime which haven't started too well, but it got a sequel which became much (or a little) better than the first season.

It's possible that you dont want to watch the sequel because you didnt enjoy the first one, but you may make a big mistake.

Let's see which sequel should get at least one more chance.

I want to list these anime because Radiant is a good example for this. The first season was alright, I hesitated to watch the second one, but it got so good that I binged it.
So don't make the same mistake as me, don't hesitate, give them a chance!

I will list only those sequels which are better at least with 0.5 score than the first series. Score was checked in May, 2022.

My personal recommendations for amazing "SOL" anime that have subtle/intensive feels and deep themes/ideas.

A list of anime that deals with mental illness or other neurodivergence. It may be a main part of the show or just something a main character deals with that contributes to the plot in some way. This is going to be an incomplete stack as I have only seen around 400 shows and there are probably so many that I have missed. If you comment on my profile one that belongs and why, I would love to add it.

As someone who has dealt with mental illness and neurodivergence my whole life, seeing shows where characters deal with similar issues gives me a feeling of being seen. I know many others on this site probably feel the same way.

I hope this list can help someone find a good show!

Anime based in or around schools, amount does vary from partially to entirely.

The shows I picked have, in various ways, changed and shaped the person I am. Some I look back and realize I needed to see it in that time, but I don't feel that way anymore. Some just have very important and memorable moments that I refer back to often.
