Anime where the exploration and enjoyment of nature is the focus. It could be a tense adventure show, or a relaxing iyashikei show, or a mix of both. In any case, appreciation of realistically depicted nature is one of the key points.

I always consider the whole franchise and only include shows/movies I have watched.
I'm sure some genres have better shows that fit, but I haven't watched everything.

These anime feature complex worlds with various elements that are carefully thought out. This includes culture, geopolitics, currency, and other aspects we find in our world. These really transport you to the fictional world and serve as a great escape from our known world

A list filled with a wide variety of animes that’ll inflict emotions of some sort, whether it’s positive or negative (or perhaps even a mix of both). All the animes listed here are animes that has personally affected me, for better or for worse. I hope you can find something here that at least wouldn’t feel like another boring isekai and hopefully leaves some sort of lasting impact on your mind.

For simplicity’s sake, any animes with multiple entries I’ll only add the first entry and drop the most ideal watch order next to it.
